At Siltech we use innovative construction techniques and materials to minimise the pervasive sonic signature of PTFE... Soon, it was clear that existing measurement techniques were unable to explain audible differences. So, our engineers had to develop their specialized equipment surpassing the standards of the day. The result was Siltech's first generation (G1) pure silver conductor. It changed what many people thought was possible from an audio cable. It established our brand. Also, it showed how serious we were about making people's systems sound better. We have never looked back... When Siltech began manufacturing cables back in 1983, few knew that hi-fi systems only sound as good as the wires that connect them. Since then, our research has driven the development of the finest interconnects, speaker cables and power leads that money can buy. Silver was chosen to achieve this rarefied level of performance, due to its excellent signal transfer characteristics.
