Claire Wong

Claire Wong was admitted to the Tasmanian Bar in 2019. Prior to this, she was admitted to the Supreme Court in Victoria in 2016 where she practiced as a solicitor advocate in a specialist criminal law firm and then at Victorian Legal Aid. Claire has experience running jury trials in the Supreme and District Courts, Migration matters in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal as well as extensive experience in bail applications, pleas and hearings in the lower courts. Claire accepts briefs in all areas of law, but specialises in the area of criminal law. Claire has Chambers in Sydney and Hobart. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Juris Doctor, having also obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Music. During her studies, she volunteered and worked as a legal clerk with both the Victorian and Aboriginal Legal Services. She currently sits as a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Tasmanian Law Society as well as a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance. She is a preferred Counsel for the Prisoners Legal Service in Tasmania.

Dr Adam Booker

  • Appointed Member of the NSW Mental Health Review Tribunal
Adam is currently a statutorily appointed Member of the NSW Mental Health Review Tribunal, where he sits as a legal member. He is also accredited as a mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System. Adam is appointed a Criminal Case Convenor in the ACT by the Chief Justice.

Richard Royle

Richard Royle specialises in common law with a particular interest in motor vehicle law, medical negligence, public liability, sexual assault and travel law. He is engaged in numerous catastrophic and other cases, and represents Australian residents injured in Australia and overseas. Richard was originally admitted to practice in the UK, but has been based in NSW for 25 years. He is a former NSW State President of the Australian Lawyers Alliance (the largest national lawyers group in Australia) and current committee member of the ALA and the Personal Injuries Common Law Committee of the NSW Bar Association.
