Bio
Astrid is an admitted Legal Practitioner in the High Court of Namibia since 2011. She graduated with a B Soc Sci degree in History and Political Studies from the University of Cape Town and obtained her LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape in 2010.
Astrid joined the firm's Litigation Department in 2012 and was appointed as a Director in 2017. She has extensive experience in civil, labour, and public law litigation. She also provides services in commercial legal drafting and legal advice.
Since 2015, Astrid has served as a Trustee on the Board of Namibia Health Plan (NHP), gaining extensive knowledge in corporate governance.
With twelve years of experience as a legal practitioner in the High Court of Namibia and eleven years in the Supreme Court of Namibia, Astrid brings a wealth of expertise and experience to her practice.
Jacky earned her LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Namibia in 2022 and has supplemented her education with specialised training, including an Opinion Writing Course from the Law Society of South Africa in May 2024. She completed her Justice Training (JTC) in 2023.
Starting as a Candidate Legal Practitioner in March 2023, Jacky has rapidly advanced within the litigation and commercial departments of her firm. She has demonstrated expertise in Civil, Commercial, Labour, and Public Law litigation, as well as in drafting commercial legal documents and providing comprehensive legal counsel. In August 2024, Jacky was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia, marking a significant milestone in her legal career.

Bio
Kula Simson is an esteemed admitted Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia with the right of appearance in the Supreme Court. She specialises in drafting high-level commercial transactions and represents a diverse portfolio of multinational clients in complex negotiations. Her areas of expertise encompass commercial law, company law, contract law, mining law, and intellectual property law, making her a valued member of the Commercial Department.
Kula holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of the Western Cape and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Cape Town. In 2019, she completed a patent drafting mentorship programme with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) and has actively participated in amendments to Namibia's copyright and industrial property laws.
In addition to her legal practice, Kula chairs the Board of Directors for Tulive Private Equity (PTY) LTD and serves on the Namibia Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) Board. Kula further consults for BIPA in collaboration with WIPO on pilot projects, such as implementing IP policies for Namibian universities and supporting IP commercialisation for women entrepreneurs. Her recent mining-related transaction successes, valued at over N$150 million, reflect her growing expertise in this field. Driven by her passion for commercial IP, Kula strives to make a meaningful impact through her work.
Marco is an admitted Legal Practitioner in the High Court of Namibia, bringing extensive expertise from his decade-long career as a Criminal Investigator specializing in Commercial Crime within the Ministry of Immigration department of Police. He earned his LLB from UNAM, where he was recognized as the Overall Best Student in Criminal Law 1 in 2020. His specialized training includes a certificate in Financial Investigation Techniques from the International Law Enforcement Academy in Gaborone, and certificates in Cyber Crime and open-source intelligence from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Additionally, he holds Basic and Advanced Investigation Certificates. In his current role, Marco works in the Criminal Litigation and Collection department, with expertise extending to civil, administrative, and constitutional law. His diverse skill set makes him a versatile and well-rounded legal practitioner. Beyond his professional duties, he actively contributes to the legal community and civil society. In 2022, he served as an Ad hoc legal committee member for the Namibia Society of Composer and Authors (Nascam), where he reviewed and recommended amendments to the Nascam Constitution. He also served the Namibia National Student Organisation as a legal committee member, advocating for student rights and interests.

Martha is a dedicated and results-driven lawyer with a strong commitment to excellence. She holds an LLB Honors Degree from the University of Namibia (2018) and an LLM in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town (2019). Additionally, she has obtained a Certificate in Compliance Management and a Certificate in Legal Opinion Writing.
Martha began her legal career at Sisa Namandje & Co. Inc. as a Candidate Legal Practitioner (2021-2023), gaining extensive experience in both lower and higher courts of Namibia. In December 2023, she was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of Namibia and promoted to Associate at the same firm.
Her practice areas include Commercial Law, Family Law, Competition Law, Communications Law, and Customary Law. Martha also offers general legal advice and guidance on legal procedures and related issues.
Bio
Matilda is an esteemed legal practitioner and conveyancer, admitted to the High Court of Namibia in 2004. She holds a B-Juris and LLB (Hons) from the University of Namibia, where she was awarded the best final year student for B-Juris and received the Chancellor's Medal for best LLB student.
Matilda began her career as a Principal Legal Officer in the Office of the Prosecutor-General, serving in Swakopmund, Windhoek, and Okahandja Magisterial Districts from 2001 to 2005. She joined the firm in 2006, became a director in 2009, and founded the Commercial and Conveyancing Department, being admitted as a Conveyancer in 2007.
Her expertise encompasses corporate legal advice, contract drafting and review, estate and property administration, and labor litigation. Matilda has extensive knowledge of the legal framework for Local Authorities and State-Owned Enterprises and oversees the firm's legal services to local authorities.
Matilda has held several notable board positions, including with Namibian Ports Authority (NAMPORT), EBH Namibia (PTY) LTD (now NAMDOC), Namibia Institute of Pathology (NIP), and Namibia Civil Aviation Authority, where she chaired and participated in various committees. She also served on the Law Society Disciplinary Committee for Legal Practitioners, including two years as Chairperson.
With 19 years of experience as a legal practitioner in the High Court of Namibia and 18 years in the Supreme Court of Namibia, Matilda Jankie brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to her practice.
Ndateelela is an accomplished legal practitioner admitted to the High Court of Namibia (2013) and the Supreme Court of Namibia (2019). She holds a B-Juris and an LLB (Hons) from the University of Namibia.
She began her career in the law firm's Litigation Department as a Candidate Legal Practitioner in 2012 and has since gained extensive experience in Civil, Labour, and Public Law litigation. She also specializes in commercial legal drafting and providing legal advice.
Ndateelela was appointed as a director of the firm in 2017 and is a Notary Public. She has chaired various disciplinary boards and has extensive experience in customary law and property law in Namibia.
She serves as a Board Member of the Namibia Financial Institution Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA) and is a member of the NAMFISA Appeal Board for the 2022-2024 term.
Samuel obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Namibia on April 16, 2021. He was admitted as a legal practitioner in the High Court of Namibia on June 9, 2023. Since joining the firm in January 2024, Samuel has become an integral part of the litigation department, providing services across all areas of law. His expertise includes criminal, civil, commercial, competition, communication, and communal land law. Samuel also offers general legal advice, guidance on legal procedures, and assistance with a wide range of incidental issues.
