Claire worked in Brisbane for national and international law firms, before returning to the Northern Rivers. Claire has substantial experience in negotiating resolution of matters through mediation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and face to face conferences. Claire has particular interest in Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law and Civil and Commercial Litigation. Claire is passionate about helping people and strives to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Ellyse Anderson

Ellyse Anderson grew up on the far north coast and has a strong appreciation for her local community and loves the beauty in our region. Ellyse relocated to Queensland to undertake her studies, completing a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts with a major in Peace and Conflict Studies through the University of Queensland in 2019. Ellyse was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2020. Ellyse has worked in various positions within the Queensland Government prior to returning to the far north coast in 2021, where she then joined our firm in 2022.

John Gibson

John Gibson is an experienced general practitioner and litigator, with particular interest in Property Law and Estate Planning. John offers comprehensive advice in Estate Planning and is experienced in drafting complex wills, Testamentary Trusts, Trust Deeds and Deeds of Family arrangement. John ran a sole practice for some 25 years and is now practicing as a consultant to this firm.

Myf Sewell

Myf Sewell has a long-standing career in personal injury law, acting in both New South Wales and Queensland motor accident, public liability and medical negligence claims. During her career, Myf has accumulated significant experience in medical negligence claims and has a diverse range of expert doctors both within Australia and overseas that she is able to draw upon for medical opinions, which is essential to achieving results for clients in these types of claims. Myf approaches her work with strength and compassion to assist her clients through their claim and achieve the best possible outcome from what is often a life-changing injury or incident.

Natalie McDonnell

Natalie McDonnell was born and raised in the Northern Rivers area. Natalie moved to Brisbane to complete her studies, graduating from the Queensland University of Technology with a double degree of Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business with distinction, majoring in Finance. She worked in top and mid-tier firms in Brisbane before returning to the area to commence practice. Natalie practices in Property Law, Commercial Law, Business Law and Wills and Estates. Natalie is motivated and compassionate, providing efficient advice and tailored solutions to her clients. Natalie is an active member of the local community, and outside of the office enjoys spending time outdoors with her young family.

Sean Radburn

Sean Radburn graduated with honours, joining Somerville Laundry Lomax in 2005 and obtaining a promotion to Partner in 2008. Sean's qualifications extend beyond being an admitted solicitor, he is also an accredited mediator and a certified practicing accountant. This accountancy experience with large multinationals, including Fox Studios, grants Sean thorough insight when representing commercial clients. Sean practices in all areas of general and commercial litigation - including property and contract matters, building disputes, compensation claims and contesting wills. Sean also boasts extensive knowledge of Australian Industrial relations, including employment law and discrimination law. Sean's pragmatic, honest approach in working with clients to achieve realistic and appropriate outcomes has garnered his reputation as one of the regions most regarded litigators. Sean is on the executive committee of the Far North Coast Law Society and the North Coast National. Sean is a sporting enthusiast and is also the honorary solicitor for Football Far North Coast.

Sharnay Savage

Sharnay Savage was born and raised in the Far North Coast area. She graduated from Southern Cross University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Law. She then went on to complete her Master of Legal Practice through the Australian National University in 2018. Sharnay was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2017. Sharnay now works in the civil litigation department, practicing in areas of Motor Vehicle accidents, Negligence claims, Compensation claims, Workplace claims, Public Liability, Insurance, Superannuation and TPD claims and Income Protection claims. Sharnay is an Approved Legal Services Provider through the Independent Review Office and a member of the Law Society of New South Wales. In her spare time Sharnay enjoys spending time with her family and two border collies. She also enjoys drawing and has a passion for exploring the immersive landscape of the Northern Rivers. Sharnay feels a strong connection to our local community and loves the beauty of our region.

Sol Ibrahim

Sol Ibrahim practices in Local Government and Planning Law. Prior to joining the legal profession, Sol served as the CEO of a regional corporation, as a Byron Shire Councillor, and as a company Director. He completed his practical training within a Council's in-house legal team. This background has given him unique insight into the workings of Local Government, and the challenges facing businesses and individuals interacting with the highly regulated planning law space. With over 25 years of experience living and working in our region, Sol can collaborate with a wide network of town planners, certifiers and architects, enabling him to provide his clients with comprehensive pre-lodgement and post-lodgement legal advice. Sol is committed to providing practical, results-driven solutions, and takes a highly personalised approach to every case he handles. He is happy to attend on-site meetings, communicate with a client's planners and certifiers, participate in dispute resolution meetings, and represent applicants at Council meetings. Sol has a strong commitment to community involvement and is currently serving as a founding Board member of Northern Rivers Rail Trail Inc.

Stephen Tester is an accredited family law specialist who has been in legal practice on the North Coast of NSW since 1989. Although Stephen specialises in family law, over three decades of practice he has extensive expertise in other areas of law including wills and estates, contested estates, and criminal matters. Stephen is an experienced solicitor advocate and has appeared as an advocate in the Federal Circuit Court, the Family Court and the Full Court of the Family Court of Australia as well as in contested cases in the local court and District Court appeals.
