Dr. Taylor has more than 30 years of experience with technical and business leadership, and development in the paper, film, coating, printing, indicator and packaging industries. He has improved many coating, extruding, packaging, and printing lines, for applications ranging from traditional and digital printing; surfacing, insulating, and barrier films; beverage packaging; construction materials; decorative panels. Flexible Printed Electronics has been a focus for the last 6 years, while his early career with poliovirus has been valued during the COVID epidemic. SPF-Inc was supportive with efforts for reducing the effects of the COVID pandemic. SPF-Inc began in 2000 and now has clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Taylor has been retained for technical management; new product design, development commercialization, and distribution; new process design; problem resolution; business and technical strategy analysis and development; major manufacturing trouble-shooting; and intellectual property analysis and protection. His roles for clients have included not only Consultant but also acting COO, CTO, Chief Scientist, and OEM Sales account management, roles which have given him in-depth cross-function expertise. Additionally, he has been an Expert Witness on multiple occasions. Throughout, productivity and profitability have been concurrent objectives of all commercial activities.
