Cullen Cogburn

Cullen graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degreee in geology in 2014. Following graduation, he spent time working as an environmental consultant. After a brief stint working in environmental consulting, he decided to return to school to follow his passion for helping people. Cullen was accepted into the University of Rhode Island's Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2018 and graduated in 2021. His professional interests include orthopedics, acute work-related injuries, sports-related injuries and neurological & vestibular disorders. Cullen enjoys going to the gym, hiking, biking and spending time outdoors in his free time.

Gail Robertshaw

  • Office Assistant
Gail has over 40 years of medical office secretarial/billing experience from various practices and organizations in the greater Portland area. While Gail did retire years ago, she was thrilled to join SMPT part-time. When Gail is not in the office she can be found behind a book or at her sewing machine, quilting. She also enjoys knitting, crochet, and just spending time with her quilting community.

Russell Curl

Originally from metro Detroit, Russell graduated from Michigan State University in 2015 with a degree in Kinesiology. Following graduation he sought work in healthcare in multiple capacities, however, eventually returned to school in 2017 where he enrolled in the University of New England's Doctor of Physical Therapy program here in Portland, Maine. Russell moved to and worked in Tampa, Florida in 2020 until he returned to Maine in January, 2022. Professionally, Russell's interests include orthopedics, sports-related injuries, and creating overall healthier and stronger individuals. Outside of therapy, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, his dog Cedar, and watching Detroit sports.

Sarah Williams

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Sarah graduated from Maine Maritime Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology. She started her career as a writer and executive assistant for the Maine Lobstermen's Association, located in Kennebunk, Maine but discovered an interest in billing and insurance after helping lobstermen around the state understand their insurance options under the Affordable Care Act. Sarah has worked in billing and office management in several industries, including behavioral health, fisheries, and dental. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time outside with her husband and daughter, working on craft projects, and volunteering for Pittie Posse Rescue and Sanctuary.
