Our Crewing Agency - Smart Group - was founded in 1996 in Constanta, Romania. We are a "group" of dedicated, capable and energetic people, who offer our Principals fast, accurate and efficient services, in Human Resources and Shipping field. We have been Certified by the Romanian Naval Authority and the Ministry of Transport to operate as a Manning Agent and a Shipping Port Agent... Smart Group is a crewing agency that is recognized and fully complies with the provisions of MLC 2006... The Cadet selection and training is a separate activity. We have a very good relationship with both the Naval Academic Institutions in Constanta - NAVAL ACADEMY and the MARITIME UNIVERSITY. We keep a close and permanent contact with them in order to be able to search and find promising Cadets, starting with their 3rd year of studies. We can verify their aptitudes and skills as well as their marks and professors evaluations.
