SMLNJ

SML/NJ provides an interactive top level based on incremental compilation, but it can produce stand-alone executables using the exportFn function... There are currently two versions of SML/NJ. For most uses, we recommend the legacy version (e.g., 110.99.6). The development version is not yet stable and is limited in the number of systems that it supports. It is, however, the version where we are placing our main development efforts. For example, we are working on support for the Arm64 architecture, which will be the main feature of the next development release.
