  • Owner
Tim Hill took his passion for music to new heights in the early '70's when he served as minister of music and choir director for churches in Louisiana. In 1987, with his wife Julie, he established Sound Hill Music in Holden, LA. During the past two decades, the company has designed and installed elaborate sound systems for churches and entertainment venues. "Together with an excellent team of engineering, technical and administrative employees, we have worked on more than a thousand church projects across the United States and overseas," he reported. Sound Hill Technologies offers a full array of AV services, from AutoCAD and customized system design, to installation and integration. Among its recent projects, is the 3,000-seat Rosa Hart Theatre at Lake Charles Civic Center, in Lake Charles, LA. "It features a five-way ISP line array system, the first of its kind in the US," Hill said with pride. "We built and installed a custom audio stage panel with 64 inputs, four com ports, 18 outputs, and several mass connections for amp racks, monitor sends and recording." Julie Hill reported that the company has its sights set on doing more government projects. "With our certified welders, electricians, cabinet builders, engineers and technical support teams, there is almost no part of a job we cannot work through," she said.
