SOL is a privately owned company through J.A Kjellberg & Söner and is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden... SOL is also the majority shareholder in the logistics company Scanlog, specialized in international transport by rail, sea, car and air. Additionally, SOL owns together with Wallenius Lines, the shipping company WALLENIUS SOL, which operates a container and RoRo liner service from the Gulf of Bothnia to and from the continent and the UK... WALLENIUS SOL was established in 2019 when Wallenius Lines and the Swedish Orient Line formed a joint shipping company to strengthen the infrastructure at the Gulf of Bothnia and the Baltic Sea. WALLENIUS SOL is an innovative shipping company with its sight set on a sustainable future with regular scheduled container and RoRo liner traffic between northern Scandinavia, the Continent and the United Kingdom.
