SpecialtyVETPATH is a veterinary pathology service providing high quality diagnostics and building lasting relationships with our clients... Specialty Vetpath was founded in 2009 by Dr. Jennifer Ward and her husband Rod Vos. They started out by turning their basement into a pathology laboratory, and when they outgrew the home lab model, moved first into a shared space in a local specialty hospital, and then in 2014, to our current location in the Interbay neighborhood of Seattle... We are a high touch lab, owned and directed by veterinary pathologists. Here, each sample is an extension of the patient and we treat them with the respect this merits, balancing the need for timely reporting with the need to take the time to do things right.
