Dania Davey

Dania Davey, office manager, manages the STA studio and Playhouse property. With a BFA from Parsons The New School, she has worked as the Design Director for House and Garden and Art Director for a variety of publications, publishing imprints and cultural institutions. Most recently as Marketing and Communications Manager at Country Willow Home in Bedford Hills, NY she was instrumental in the design and curation of all website and promotional materials.

Elizabeth Martin

Jody Glassman

Job Titles:
  • Comptroller
Jody Glassman, comptroller. Using strong personnel skills and previous office administration experience at STA, she guides finances in the studio. Elsewhere, she has managed conferences for Johns Hopkins University, run an optical business, and administered a summer camp. She presently manages a pre-school.

Jonathan Walko

Jonathan Walko, architectural designer, received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Roger Williams University in 1993. Prior experience in the construction industry informs his design, detailing and construction administration roles on a variety of project types. Institutional jobs include adaptive reuse of a County warehouse and new construction for Westchester's Homeless Shelter. Mr. Walko oversaw a major energy conserving upgrade to the Westchester County Records Center. For residential clients, he has managed new construction, renovations and additions for vintage through mid-century modern buildings. Work on passive solar cabins at the Boy Scouts' Clear Lake Reservation (Putnam County, NY) and a new super energy-conserving student home for the North Country School in Lake Placid demonstrates his dedication to sustainable design and sensitivity to natural systems. Urban projects include documentation for the restoration of Warburton Lofts in Yonkers and construction administration for the Music Conservatory of Westchester in White Plains. In Woodstock, NY, he has fine tuned infrastructure, ventilation and lighting upgrades for the century old Maverick Concerts-an acoustically splendid barn-like hall termed "a music chapel" by The New Yorker.

Joyce Jabbour

Joyce Jabbour, promotion director, has a background in graphic design, marketing, and creative direction. Clients have ranged from American Express to a variety of local businesses and organizations. She has a special interest in non-profit initiatives aimed at helping children discover their ability to make a positive impact in their community and the world. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University where she majored in Experimental Studios. At Stephen Tilly, Architect she is responsible for the design and production of proposals and promotional materials. She also contributes to client projects in the areas of graphics and signage.

Raymond Wobbe

Job Titles:
  • Senior Architect
Raymond Wobbe, senior architect. Prior to joining STA, Mr. Wobbe was responsible for all phases of development ranging from programming and conceptual design through construction for a variety of commercial and institutional projects in the U.S, Europe and Asia. He served as consultant on the $1 billion rehabilitation of the United Nations complex. At STA, he has shepherded to completion three award-winning multi-family mixed use projects: Riverton Lofts and workforce housing in Hastings, and Warburton Lofts in Yonkers. As a preservation architect, he has worked on the Tarrytown Lighthouse in Sleepy Hollow, the historic Warner Library in Tarrytown, NY, and the 1880 Mamaroneck Railroad Station-preparing it for adaptive re-use as restaurant and loft offices. In Garrison, NY, he directed the conversion of a Capuchin monastery into a Buddhist retreat and center for environmental contemplation. Energy conservation infuses projects now on the boards. Mr. Wobbe received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati, and had his own practice in Houston Texas from 1977 to 1981.

Stephanie Reinert

Stephanie Reinert, historic preservation director, architectural designer, trained in architecture at the Boston Architectural Center and in historic preservation at Cornell University. Her expertise has prepared her to address full restoration of the 1764 Shingle House in Warwick, NY, the 1884 Thomas Moran Studio in Easthampton and ongoing restoration of the steeple and stained glass at Ossining's First Baptist Church. In Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, she coordinated the restoration and renovation of an 1894 main house and carriage house, and construction of a new pool. Scarsdale clients downsizing to apartment living have benefitted from her fine-grain work on domestic interiors. With collaborators at STA, she prepares existing conditions assessments for historic buildings and guidelines for historic districts. As a volunteer at historic sites, she has first-hand experience with issues confronting non-profit clients.

Stephen Sudak

Stephen Sudak, senior architect, rejoins STA after extensive experience working on complex institutional buildings at Gwathmey Siegel & Associates and WASA. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, he has a proud history of volunteer activity, serving on the local architectural review board and in regional Boy Scouting-an expertise that suits him for our studio's park and environmental projects. He is presently advancing multi-family housing projects and a cinema expansion at STA.

Stephen Tilly

Stephen Tilly, principal of the firm, graduated from M.I.T. with a Master of Architecture, following a BA (English Literature) from Grinnell College. After hands-on work as a general contractor, he did research, planning and urban design in Boston, Washington and New York. He became a partner in Design Coalition, an adventurous design firm that helped pioneer New York's historic Soho district in the 1970s and 1980s. With Elizabeth Martin, Mr. Tilly founded a mission-based studio in Dobbs Ferry focused on delivering high end design, especially targeting socially useful projects. The work since reflects a broad range of interests including affordable housing, historic preservation, low-impact environmental design and community planning. Frequent pro bono and grant-funded projects have made him familiar with the dynamics of non-profits. He has served on local land use committees and boards and is the Chair of the Advisory Board of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Lyndhurst Historic Site. For the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Association for Preservation Technology, he has spoken and written on the essential connection between preservation and sustainability. Stephen Tilly, Architect takes a collaborative, studio approach to a wide variety of projects, from regional planning to rain gardens. We are architects, historic preservation specialists and landscape designers; we are both specialists and generalists. Our core mission is to design, rehabilitate and preserve environments that bring delight, and will continue to do so for generations.
