Liz is an integrated marketing communications expert, content creator, and educator. She conducts nonprofit demographic and competitive research and assists with the strategic planning process. She loves energizing nonprofit messaging, storytelling and creating web, email, social media, podcast, speech, educational and presentation content… Liz Navarro is a content creator, educator, writer and integrated marketing communications consultant. She empowers students, professionals, entrepreneurs and nonprofits to turn their authentic stories into engaging, clear and shareable narratives. Liz consults with nonprofits and entrepreneurs in need of creating compelling content, helping them to engage their audience through multiple platforms. She specializes in podcasts, blogs, web copy, presentations, speeches, educational curriculum and social media. Liz has also worked with nonprofit clients to create strategic marketing plans, conduct industry research and has assisted in the strategic planning process. After teaching high school in urban Los Angeles, Liz launched a career as a university instructor at her alma mater, Pepperdine University, where she taught communications and public speaking courses to undergraduates. Currently, she is a public speaking instructor at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she also offers public speaking coaching and courses for professionals. She empowers her students to identify and lean in to their unique strengths and to tell their authentic truths. When she isn't working with clients or students, Liz embraces a #sidehustle lifestyle as a freelance writer, blogger, and speaker. Born and raised in Idaho, she now resides in Dallas after a decade in Los Angeles and a far-too-brief year eating pasta and drinking wine in Florence, Italy. She loves spending time just about anywhere with her husband Alex, daughter Lucy, family and friends.

Fay Fleming

Fay leads market research services to help nonprofits drive compelling fund development planning and fundraising. She provides research that creates unique insights to help develop effective Strategic Plans and operating decisions. With more than 20 years of senior-level expertise, Fay's passionate about finding innovative ways to help nonprofits excel in today's changing landscape. A longtime volunteer, Fay has provided leadership to local and national nonprofits in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Washington, D.C. These diverse experiences helped her hone strong skills in the nonprofit arena. Fay has twenty years of senior-level expertise as a director, vice-president or national consultant in government, healthcare, nonprofit, small business and Fortune corporations. This includes MoDOT, Provident, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, Monsanto Fund, GM, AT&T and others. She has done post graduate work in communications and strategic branding and has certificates from The Burke Institute and RIVA research institutes. Fay earned a MA in marketing from Webster University and a BA in finance from the University of Oklahoma. She enjoys working with teams and frequently presents keynotes, webinars and training sessions for national nonprofits and conferences. A former adjunct instructor, newspaper and magazine columnist, she is working on her second book. Fay currently volunteers with the Food Bank, 2nd Baptist Church, Dreams to Reality and as a Governing Member with the United Way. She has also served as a national committee member for TransComm and COMTO industry associations.Fay is an avid traveler who also enjoys hiking, reading and live music.

Vin Hoey - Managing Director

Vin leads cutting-edge nonprofit strategic planning, research, marketing, branding and governance consulting services. A senior executive with extensive nonprofit and business leadership experience, he is passionate about serving nonprofits and teaching/mentoring the next generation of leaders. He brings a perspective of nonprofit board and senior staff experience to fuel success for causes. He led a Social Enterprise Fundamentals Workshop at the Meals on Wheels national conference and annually leads social enterprise workshops on How to Develop a Business Plan and How to Develop Social Enterprise Sales and Marketing. His consulting services have included assessing business opportunities and developing business and marketing plans to launch a new nonprofit social enterprise. Throughout his career, Vin has gained deep nonprofit board experience by providing significant volunteer leadership on the boards of directors of 21 different local, national and international nonprofit organizations in various cities, serving as board chair for seven nonprofits. Vin loves teaching and has taught at SMU, UNT and DePauw University. He regularly teaches Nonprofit Marketing for CNM in Dallas and has taught integrated marketing for Fortune 1000 firms for the Association of National Advertisers. He served as Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy and Communications for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, gaining nonprofit senior staff and fundraising campaign experience. His long career with ExxonMobil included a variety of local, national and global experience in senior corporate and marketing communications leadership positions. He earned an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, a BA from DePauw University, and more recently completed a Nonprofit Governance Certificate from the University of Texas at Dallas. He serves on the board of Heart House and the Advisory Councils of Project Transformation North Texas and the Social Enterprise Alliance of North Texas. As a team member at the UT Dallas Institute for Excellence in Corporate Governance, he is helping develop a new Governance Capital model that provides valuable insights for nonprofit governance. Vin and his wife Carol enjoy cooking together, bird watching, travel, and time with family and friends.
