Anna joined the team in August 2014. She has completed her Diploma in Horse Industry Management as well as continuing education in small animal anaesthesia and pain management. Anna has a dressage horse named Castiel and two rescue cats, Molly and Ying Yang. She is known as the official Cat Whisperer at St Ives Vet.
Caity joined the team in 2015 as a vet nurse to pursue a career with animals. She has a huge passion for dogs and loves handling the big, anxious dogs in the clinic. Caity currently owns three dogs of her own and during her free time coordinates a dog rescue called Fetching Dogs. Caity has gone onto study and specialise in canine physical rehabilitation and is in the process of opening up a rehab clinic on the north shore.
Carmen joined the team in June 2021. She is presently completing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney and due to graduate in 2023. She has a wide range of interests including wildlife & exotics, pathology and pharmacology. In her spare time she enjoys bush walks, reading, crochet and spending time with her cat Charlie.
Carys joined the team in February 2023. She is currently completing a Certificate 2 in Animal Care while also completing year 12, with the hope of getting into Veterinary Science when she finishes school. Carys loves playing netball, sewing and spending time with her rescue cattle dog Brick, rabbits Betsy and Arlo and guinea pig Wellington.
Chloe joined the team in 2023. With a certificate 3 in Animal studies, Chloe is very passionate about any animal big or small, and will take any opportunity to spend time with cats. In her free time Chloe spends as much time as possible with her cat Cosmo and or at the beach. Chloe plans to study feline behaviour and her final year of veterinary nursing.
Elise joined our team in March 2020 and is currently studying Veterinary Science at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga. Elise has always had a passion for animal health, and she continues to work here during her holiday to gain more experience. Elise enjoys spending time with her own dog, chickens and horses.

Farrah has been at St Ives Veterinary Hospital since 2000. She has completed her veterinary nursing certificate and has also completed a Certificate in Practice Managment. Farrah enjoys horse riding, cooking and quilt making. She owns Boags, a ginger cat she rescued as a stray and Norman, a cheeky Cavoodle.
Hamish joined the team in December 2022. He is interested in reptilian and avian science and enjoys spending time with his birds, lizard and dog, as well as going on nature walks and mountain bike rides on his days off.
Izabela joined the team in 2023. Originally from Poland but now calling Australia home, Izzy is a true animal lover and advocate. With a passion for all things furry and feathered, she has dedicated her career to animal welfare. As a veterinary nurse, she is committed to providing the best possible care for every animal in her care. Izzy loves music, playing guitar, and is always eager to spend time outdoors and enjoy a variety of sports. Whether it's hiking, swimming, or playing basketball, she is always up for a challenge.

Jennifer graduated from Sydney University with first class honours in 2011. After working as a small animal vet on the Northern Beaches, lower North Shore and in the UK she joined the St Ives team in 2022. Jennifer is passionate about all aspects of small animal practice, with a particular interest in dentistry and complex case management. When not at work, she enjoys heading to the beach, hiking, good coffee and adventures with her family.
Kelly joined the team in February 2023. Ever since she was little, she wanted to do something with animals. After growing up in New Zealand and living in the UK for a few years, she became a veterinary receptionist at SASH in Sydney, then four years later at Balmain Vet Hospital. A self-confessed crazy cat person, her passion is helping all pets and their people.

Laura graduated from Sydney University in 2006 with 1st Class honours in Molecular Biology and Genetics. Her love for animals and medicine saw her return to university to study Veterinary Science, graduating in 2012. In 2013, Laura joined the St Ives Veterinary Hospital team. When not at work, Laura enjoys beach holidays, running and spending time with her family.

Michael graduated from Sydney University with 1st Class honours in 1982. He then went to England to work for 2 years before returning home to work on Sydney's Northern Beaches. In 1992 he opened St Ives Veterinary Hospital. Michael is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and completed a PhD in exercise physiology at Sydney University in 1996. In 2023 Michael sold the practice to long time employee Sally Tilley and moved to a part time role. In his free time, Michael enjoys camping, spending time with his family and is the owner of Maisi a Cavalier King Charles and Lilli, a Burmese.

Ray joined the team in 2022. A country girl, Ray graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Environmental Science and Management with Distinction, majoring in Marine Science. After working in research for a number of years she then decided to change direction which lead her to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine post-graduate degree at Melbourne University in 2017. She then spent a few years living and working in Perth but has returned to Sydney to be closer to family after the COVID pandemic. Ray has two gorgeous chihuahuas named Huey and Gus. She hopes to one day start up a senior chihuahua rescue in her spare time.

Sally graduated from Sydney University in 2000. In 2001 she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Sydney University, Camden working with their specialists. Sally has been with St Ives Veterinary Hospital since 2002, and in 2023 took over ownership of the practice from Michael Eaton. Sally has a keen interest in surgery, ophthalmology and heart disease. Sally is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association. When not at the clinic, Sally has her hands full looking after her family and her 2 cats Herb and Tripod (yes he has 3 legs) and her dogs Taylor and Bonnie.
