Bruce Thompson

Bruce graduated from the University of Sydney with degrees in Arts and Law in 1969. After practising in Sydney for 3 years he spent 3 years in London obtaining a Masters Degree in Law and also further practice experience with a large London firm. A partner in Staunton & Thompson since 1976, Bruce has been accredited by the Law Society as a specialist in business law. He also practises in property law and wills and estates and associated dispute resolution.

Dennis Staunton

In recent years Dennis has practised mainly in property law, as well as commercial litigation and wills and estates. Dennis has a very extensive clientele, comprising both personal and corporate clients. Founder Dennis Staunton graduated from the University of Sydney with degrees in Arts and Law in 1969.

John Conti

With 40 years experience as a practising solicitor, John is a respected member of the Sydney legal profession. John commenced work as an Articled Law Clerk at the end of 1965 before being admitted to practice as a solicitor in 1972. For a significant period as a lawyer he has worked for small to medium sized law firms. He was also a sole practitioner from 1978 until 1987. From 1987 until 2010 John mainly worked as a partner in medium sized CBD law firms. In 2010, John recommenced working as a sole practitioner. In 2019, he joined Staunton & Thompson as a Consultant. John specialises in: Conveyancing General litigation Commercial Law transactions Wills, Estates and Powers of Attorney Family Law property disputes Employment disputes He is a member of the North Metropolitan Regional Law Society as well as the Law Society of NSW. Michael Adamo

Michael Adamo joined the firm as a Partner in 2018 after 16 years practising as a Barrister at the New South Wales Bar where he practised in a wide variety of law practice areas such as Commercial Law, Criminal Law/Traffic Law, Employment/Industrial Law, Family Law, Family Provision/Probate & Contesting Wills Litigation, Personal Injury Claims (including Motor Accidents and Workers Compensation), etc. Michael brings a wealth of expertise as a senior lead advocate in trial and appellate courts throughout Australia and New Zealand from the NSW Local Court to the NSW Court of Appeal/Court of Criminal Appeal, High Court of Australia, etc. He has also advised at a high level in complex civil and criminal cases. Michael also sits in the NSW District Court and NSW Local Court as a part-time sessional Court Arbitrator hearing civil cases in city and regional courts throughout the State.
