Emerald Oil Industries Ltd. hereinafter referred to as EOIL was incorporated on July 17, 2008 with registration no.-C72229 (271)/08, as a Private Limited Company under The Companies Act 1994 with a mission to produce edible oil which is a common item for preparation of daily food of human being. The company started its commercial operation on 02 July 2011 and converted into Public Limited Company on December 21, 2011. The company was listed with Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. and Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. on March 11, 2014 and March 13, 2014 respectively. The factory is located in Sheripara, Sherpur Sadar, Sherpur which is about 170 km away from Dhaka. The registered office and principal place of business of the company is located at: Halimunnesa`s Court (Floor-9), 23, Kakrail, Dhaka-1000, Bangladesh.
