Andrew Zimbalist is the Robert A. Woods professor of economics at Smith College (since 1974), a member of the Five College Graduate Faculty and an adjunct professor in the sports management program of the business school a the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has been a visiting professor at the University of Geneva (2003), at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan (1985), and a visiting research fellow at Harvard University (1980). Dr. Zimbalist has published fourteen books and several dozen articles primarily in the areas of comparative economic systems, economic development and sports economics. He has testified before the House Ways and Means Committee on the economic effects of U.S. policy toward Cuba, and has consulted in Latin America for the United Nations Development Program, the Atlantic Council, IRELA, the Economic Intelligence Unit and the U.S. Agency for International Development, and for companies investing in Latin America. Dr. Zimbalist has received national acclaim for his numerous publications involving the economics of professional sports. His publications include "National Pastime: How Americans Play Baseball and the Rest of the World Plays Soccer" (co-authored with Stefan Szymanski), "May the Best Team Win: Baseball Economics and Public Policy," "The Economics of Sport I & II," which is part of the Edward Elgar series entitled "The International Library of Critical Writings in Economics" (edited by Mark Blaug), "Unpaid Professionals: Commercialization and Conflict in Big-Time College Sports," "Sports, Jobs and Taxes: The Economic Impact of Sports Teams and Stadiums" (co-edited and co-authored with Roger Noll from Stanford University), "Baseball and Billions: A Probing Look Inside the Big Business of Our National Pastime," Dr. Zimbalist has consulted and testified on matters involving broadcasting, collective bargaining, sports franchise valuation, sports antitrust, the baseball antitrust exemption, the antitrust implications of professional sports franchise relocation, the economic impact of sports franchises and stadiums on cities, public subsidies for stadium construction, the economic impact of a new stadium, stadium financing and related topics.

Marianne DeMario is a Certified Public Accountant and a Managing Director of Spectrum Consulting Partners LLC ("SCP") where she specializes in forensic accounting investigations, damages analyses, business valuations, and other litigation support services. Prior to forming SCP, she was a Managing Director of the Business Valuation and Litigation Services Divisions of UHY Advisors, Inc. Ms. DeMario has extensive experience providing consulting services in the areas of forensic accounting and complex commercial damage calculations. Much of her consultation services include analysis and strategic planning for litigation, investigation of accounting irregularities and fraud, economic modeling, valuation, and damage calculations. She has testified as an expert witness in U. S. District Court, U. S. Bankruptcy Court, state court, and at arbitration and mediation proceedings concerning accounting, financial analysis, valuation, and commercial and anti-trust damages. Ms. DeMario has MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Science degrees from the Stern School of Business, New York University where she graduated summa cum laude and with distinction. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, an accredited member of the American Society of Appraisers and the CFA ("Chartered Financial Analyst") Institute (and is a CFA charterholder). She is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
