The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 12 that every believer born again into the Body of Christ is an important part of His body. No one can say that he is more or less important or more or less necessary than any other member. The Bible also tells us in Ephesians 4 that God has given us His ministers to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. The work of the ministry is not just for God's ministers! It is for the entire body of Christ. Each member has a job to fulfill and the church performs most smoothly when each is doing his or her part.
