Mr. Jeffery M. St. Clair assumed the top leadership position at Springhill Medical Center in 2009. As CEO and President, Mr. St. Clair is leader of the most technologically advanced, privately owned hospital complex in the area.
Mr. St. Clair served as Hospital Administrator and COO at Springhill for 15 years prior to his current position. He also served as Springhill's Vice President of Operations for eight years prior to that.
Mr. St. Clair has a bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama in Health Care Management and completed his master's work in Health Administration at Kennedy-Western University
He currently serves on the Boards for the hospital and Springhill Health Services, Inc., which owns Springhill Medical Center. During recent years of service at Springhill, Mr. St. Clair played a major role in developing and designing the hospital's 50,000-square-foot Heart Center. He has also led several other major projects on campus over the years, including: the orthopaedic surgery center; the eye, ear, nose, throat surgery center; two medical office buildings; numerous hospital expansions; and conversions of major information technology systems. In addition, Mr. St. Clair spearheads several patient quality initiatives to strengthen Springhill's efforts in maintaining a safe and healthy medical facility.

Mr. Paul Read is Chief Nursing Executive and Vice President at Springhill Medical Center, where he has been since graduating from the University of Mobile School of Nursing in 1998.
His employment at Springhill began in 1990 as a unit secretary in the Intensive Care Unit. He began his staff nursing career at Springhill in the Intensive Care Unit in 1998. In 2000, he became the nurse manager of ICU and PACU. He was credited with creating a more family oriented environment for employees, which was evident by the quality care patients received.
In 2002, he was asked to serve as the Chief Nursing Executive for Springhill, and he was charged with promoting nursing and improving quality of care hospital-wide. Mr. Read achieved this by serving as an example for all nurse managers. He "rolled up his sleeves" and pitched in whenever necessary. His actions demonstrated that outstanding nursing care starts at the top. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing Administration at the University of Mobile in 2005.
Mr. Read also works and serves on countless committees committed to improving care and promoting nursing throughout South Alabama.

For more than a decade, Mr. Areaux has been responsible for multiple clinical and administrative departments in healthcare settings, including medical records, decision support, imaging, biomed, lab, catheterization lab, cardiology, sleep center, radiation therapy, hyperbaric and wound care center, rehabilitation, and dietary.

Stephen "Jan" Grigsby currently serves as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Springhill Medical Center. Grigsby oversees the financial operations of the hospital, as well as all revenue cycle activities.
Stephen "Jan" Grigsby currently serves as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Springhill Medical Center. Grigsby, who has more than 18 years of experience in healthcare financial leadership. oversees the financial operations of the hospital, as well as all revenue cycle activities.
Mr. Grigsby was previously at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Memorial is a not-for-profit, regional, tertiary care, academic medical center.
Grigsby came to Springhill from Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida, where he served as CFO. Jupiter Medical Center is a private, not-for-profit healthcare organization. He was part of a leadership team that orchestrated an operational turnaround at Jupiter. Grigsby helped develop and implement cost-cutting initiatives, growth plans, and joint venture partnerships to help ensure the long-term viability of the medical center.
Prior to that, Mr. Grigsby was CFO at Methodist Hospital North, a member of the Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare System in Memphis. He was again part of a senior team that executed a major turnaround plan for the hospital. Prior to that, Grigsby served as CFO and Chief Operating Officer at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, Alabama.
Before transitioning to healthcare financial leadership, Grigsby worked in several clinical roles over a nine-year period. Grigsby completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He earned his Master in Health Care Administration degree at the University of Kentucky. He is a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Mr. Grigsby currently lives in Mobile with his wife Laurie, and two daughters; Morgan and Emily.
