The Society of Risk Management Consultants (SRMC) is an international organization of professionals engaged in risk management, insurance and employee benefits consulting. Its mission is to advance these professions to benefit the member consultants, their clients and the public through research, education, exchange of information through conferences, networking, and the promotion of professional and ethical guidelines... SRMC was founded in 1984, a merger of The Institute of Risk Management Consultants and the Insurance Consultants Society, two former consulting organizations dating back to the early 1960s.
