Standard Brazil - Marine Survey & Services was created in 1991 by José Antonio Machado G. Pereira, licensed marine merchant deck officer & marine surveyor with international certificate of competence, lawyer (OAB PR 88958), to offer a personal, reliable and quality assistance in naval consultancy, surveying, inspections and market researches... Standard Brazil offers a wide scope of surveys and inspections in both marine and container areas. Since the beginning the company has attended almost all P&I clubs, several ship owners, charterers, importers, operators, exporters, traders, terminals and cargo controller companies as proof of previous experience. Nowadays the company carries out 22 million tons in cargo surveys inspections and approximately 350 vessels year and tries to limit its range of operation to the ports of Paraná (Antonina and Paranaguá) and Santa Catarina (São Francisco do Sul, Itajaí, Itapoá and Imbituba) always with its own team of technicians...
