The Science and Technology Campus Corporation (SciTech) was created in 1995 and was endorsed by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees to develop an enhanced research park based in the university's west campus. SciTech's mission is to foster and encourage research affiliations and linkages between the university and private business, governmental entities, and nonprofit research organizations... Amanda Hoffsis serves as SciTech's president, leading the not-for-profit, university-affiliated organization. SciTech offers close proximity to the university's new Carmenton innovation district, the Wexner Medical Center and several world-class high-tech collaborators such as Battelle Memorial Institute and Chemical Abstracts Service... SciTech drives innovation by providing space, research and development opportunities for new and existing high technology companies in central Ohio.
