Mr Ishmael Turkson

Mr Ishmael Turkson was called to the Bar in Ghana in 1993 after completing his LLB at the University of Ghana Legon. He has since been in private practice and has over 20 years experience in the legal profession.

P.K. Anim-Addo

Holds a B.A degree in Politics and Philosophy at Hull University, UK. He studied for the English Bar at the Honourable Society of the Lincoln's Inn London and was called to the Bar in 1974. He started private practice in 1979. He set up his own chambers - Horizon Chambers in 1996 in the UK. He is also a member of the Bar Human Rights Committee in the UK and was involved in the Human Rights Issues in Kenya after an official visit to that country.

Yaw Baah

Yaw Baah (Hon) is one of the partners of Sterling Partnership. Mr Baah has previously worked as a lawyer in Gyinae Chambers in Ghana over three years and was the lawyer for London boroughs of Sutton and Newham in UK in the area of Housing Law. He has been called to the Bar in Ghana (2003) and is also a Barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn - UK (1997). He graduated from University of Ghana in 1986 where he read Economics and Political Science.

Yaw Eshun is the Managing Partner in Sterling Partnership, which specialises in commercial arbitration/litigation, private client work and conveyancing amongst others. With over 15 years experience, he is in charge of client relations, and has joint responsibility for the overall management of the firm and has responsibility for a number of departments. Some of his previous roles include working as the main In House lawyer for Commonwealth Advisory Centre and Cooke Dugan Solicitors in UK for over six years. Prior to that his posts have included lecturing, working for the London Borough of Redbridge as the specialist on Housing Law issues and as Solicitor & Barrister at Derby & Co Chambers in Ghana. Yaw Eshun is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in UK (2005); is on the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales (2003); Masters of Laws from one of the most prominent institutions in the UK - Kings College (1999) and has been a Barrister at Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana since 1996. He is also a member of the Honourable Society of Lincolns Inn where he was called to the Bar in 1995 after achieving first time passes. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma from Nottingham Trent University (1994) and graduated from the University of Ghana in 1986 after seven years of secondary education at Adisdael College. Mr Eshun has lectured and taught, speaks at Conferences in UK and Ghana on legal developments; was the resident Lawyer for the Church of Pentecost in UK and a Member of Star 100 (a UK based organisation comprising Ghanaian male and female professionals which mentors young Ghanaians in UK and supports various projects in Ghana. Mr Eshun currently teaches the Legal and Regulatory Framework at the Ghana Stock Exchange and has been teaching this course for the past 3 years.
