SUNNY

My name is Sondra Audin Armer, nickname Sunny. This website is for poets and poets-to-be. It may cause discomfort to people who suffer from homophobia. My poems have been awarded prizes by Rita Dove and Margaret Atwood. More than seventy have been published in literary journals, including Western Humanities Review, The South Carolina Review, Cumberland Poetry Review, and Blue Unicorn. One is in the anthology Ravishing Disunities: Real Ghazals in English (edited by Agha Shahid Ali); another is in Dog Music: Poetry About Dogs, published by St. Martin's Press; a third is in Out of the Closet Into Our Hearts: Celebrating Our Gay/Lesbian Family Members (Leyland Publications). I have given public readings at the Neuberger Museum, the Northern Westchester Center for the Arts, and too many New York City locations to list here.
