With the leftover proceeds from the sale of the Sunset Blvd property Mr. Ostergard opened a second bigger and more strategically located warehouse in South El Monte, California. By 1949, Sunset Ladder had a well established business manufacturing wooden ladders and planks both for sale and rental. Multiple daily deliveries were made to virtually every major Motion Picture studio in Hollywood, Manila Rope Block and Tackle equipment for Window Washers was hand made on site and rented out for work on all medium High Rise buildings throughout Southern California.
