Kelly joins St. Mary's and Prime healthcare with 12 years of healthcare leadership. Most recently he served as Vice President of Hospital Operations at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in St. Louis where he was responsible for daily operations of a 523-bed acute care hospital. Prior to DePaul Hospital, Kelly served as Vice President, Hospital Operations, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital, a 180-bed acute care hospital in St. Louis and as Administrative Director, Nursing Operations, for SSM Health.
Pearce, 43, earned his master's degree in Health Administration at the University of Missouri and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, at Deaconess College of Nursing, now Chamberlain College of Nursing. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and earned his silver and bronze certification in Lean Management. A member of the Empower Scholarship Fund (ESF) board since 2015, Pearce now serves as its president. ESF raises and awards monetary scholarships for students of Adtalem University's nursing, medical and veterinary schools.
Pearce is married with four children ages 12, 15, 16 and 18. He enjoys playing men's league hockey, hunting and staying active with his children who participate in ice and field hockey, lacrosse and soccer.

Mark Benz joined Prime Healthcare's leadership team on December 18, 2019, as the new Regional CEO of the healthcare system's four Missouri and Kansas hospitals and affiliated locations, including St. Joseph's Medical Center (KCMO), St. Mary's Medical Center (Blue Springs, MO) Providence Medical Center and its Affiliates (Kanas City, Kan.) and Saint John Hospital (Leavenworth, Kan.).
With leadership roles in CRC Health Services, Community Health Systems, and Universal Health Services, Benz has more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience. Prior to working for Prime Healthcare, Benz served as Market CEO of Tenet Healthcare/Carondelet Health Network in Tucson, Arizona, a market that included five hospitals/micro hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care centers and a 150-member physician practice. Benz also served as CEO of Tenet's St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson and Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina.
Benz earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and Bachelor of Social Work with a concentration in Organizational Development from Arizona State University and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Liston is a practicing cardiologist with Kansas City Cardiology with offices at St. Joseph and St. Mary's Medical Center and in Lee's Summit, Mo.
Dr. Liston earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a Cardiovascular fellowship. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
