Cliff Whisnant graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Accounting. He spent the beginning of his career in the real estate industry, where he worked for 15 years. From 1984 to 1991, Cliff worked as the CFO for Performance Properties Corporation, and also served as the Controller for Independent American Corporation, the Accounting Manager for Lehndorff Management (USA), Ltd., and an auditor for Price Waterhouse and Co. In 1991, Cliff took advantage of his business experience and founded Revest Management Services, Inc. (RMSI) - later known as Storage Management Associates (SMA). He is a real estate broker in Texas, a member of the Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA), and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Lake Highlands United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas where he and his family reside.
Lawrence ‘Larry' Easley attended Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois, where he studied in business and journalism. He is a Vietnam/US Army Veteran with over nine years of active duty and another 15 years of government service around the world. He retired in 1995 as Chief, Air Force Bowling Program. In 1998, he joined Revest Management Services, Inc. (RMSI) as a property manager in San Antonio, TX, and was later promoted to Director of Operations. In August, 2008, Larry and Cliff became business partners and renamed RMSI to Storage Management Associates (SMA) to better reflect the company expertise in self storage property management. Larry is a proud member of the Texas Self Storage Association and served as a member of the TSSA Board of Directors from 2012 to 2015. He oversees SMA property operations from his office in San Antonio, where he and his wife reside.
