Mr. Blume is active in the field of environmental planning, primarily for infrastructure projects. His customer base includes infrastructure companies, engineering and design firms, and licensing authorities.
Since 2017, Mr. Blume has been involved among other things in projects dealing with the extension of Hamburg's subway system. Christian Becher is Project Engineer in the Power and Heat business unit and an expert in maintenance projects.
Mr. Becher has extensive experience in the maintenance of power plants. His tasks include planning, preparation and management of maintenance work. Our customers benefit from his expertise in the preparation of schedules of works and order specifications, in cost planning and time scheduling, and in the monitoring of compliance with specifications, budgets and schedules. His tasks include coordinating all parties involved in the project and acting as site manager. His areas of expertise cover inspection planning and implementation as well as planning and coordination, including monitoring of deadlines, of service life monitoring for plant components subject to official inspection (boiler components and steam lines). His main focus is on measures relating to boilers and on life time extension (LTE) measures. His customer base mainly comprises energy sector companies and power plant operators.
From 2016 to 2021, Mr. Becher worked as a project engineer in the "Retrofit Hamburg West" project at the Wedel CHP plant. He was entrusted with the planning and the coordination and monitoring of measures to extend the service life of components of the boiler plant in the Wedel CHP plant.
Mr. Becher studied at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in mechanical engineering, specializing in production technology. Before joining Dornier Group in 2008, Mr. Becher worked as an engineer at DIS AG. This included sub-tasks as a commissioning engineer at Alstom, project engineer at AREVA NP and commissioning engineer at Siemens AG PG.

Christian Klett graduated in engineering and joined Dornier Group's business unit Power and Heat in Vetschau as a project engineer in 2009, before becoming head of Process and Environmental Engineering in 2016. He possesses a wealth of expertise in the field of steam turbines and in handling small and large-scale projects as project engineer, construction and erection supervisor, building owner and project manager. With great commitment and dedication, Christian Klett is always on the lookout for improvements and pragmatic solutions for his clients and staff. From 2010 to 2015 he contributed decisively in various roles to the construction of Vattenfall's Moorburg CHP plant in Hamburg. Christian Klett studied mechanical engineering at TU Dresden, specializing in aerospace engineering.

Christian Lösche is head of the Calculations and Process Quality Control section in the Power and Heat business unit, and an expert in process quality control.
Together with his team, Mr. Lösche is responsible for process modeling and simulation, online monitoring, and metrological investigations at power plants. He is an expert in efficiency monitoring and evaluation of power plants and has extensive expertise in thermodynamics and power plant engineering.
His customer base is chiefly made up of energy utilities and chemical companies.
From 2019 to 2021, Mr. Lösche was project manager for the installation of process quality control systems for Vattenfall Wärme Berlin AG combined heat and power plants.
Mr. Lösche studied at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, graduating with a degree (Dipl.-Ing. FH) in energy and environmental engineering. Mr. Lösche subsequently worked as a project engineer for measurements and optimizations at Dornier Group.

Mr. Stahl is working as a team leader in the work scheduling department at the Wedel power plant near Hamburg, Germany. His main tasks include the coordination of trades, the creation and processing of SAP maintenance orders as well as cost planning and monitoring. He is also responsible for determining and procuring spare parts requirements, scheduling and QA measures. The SAP PM module is used to create maintenance orders for repairs and new constructions. Dr. Bettina Grauel is a project engineer in the Nuclear Services business line.
She has extensive experience in planning and consulting services in radiation protection and in all aspects related to clearance procedures. She also works as a project manager in various areas of the Nuclear Services business line. A major part of her work involves technical discussions with operators and authorities.
Ms. Grauel's expertise covers activity determination and statistical evaluation. She also has many years of experience in Monte Carlo simulations and numerical analysis of activity dispersion. A major focus is the careful processing and precise visual presentation of data. As a career changer, she often comes up with unconventional or out-of-the box approaches to bring projects to a successful conclusion.
Her customer base is chiefly made up of owners and operators of nuclear facilities and authorities.
In 2021 and 2022, Ms. Grauel was involved in a project for the planning of a waste disposal measurement laboratory. Her responsibilities included estimating the number of laboratory measurements to be expected in the course of building clearance and, as a result, the number and quality of the required measuring stations. The layout planning under consideration of the permissible floor loads and variant comparisons and feasibility studies also belonged to her tasks.
Ms. Grauel studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin, where she earned her Master of Science in Physics, specializing in quantum field theory. After that, Ms. Grauel also earned her PhD from Humboldt University in Berlin and her Doctor of Science degree in physics, specializing in biophotonics.

Since 2019, Helga Jonuschat has been contributing her expertise in the New Mobility segment within our Business Unit Mobility, always thinking one step ahead with her innovative ideas. Gerhard Cornelsen is Project Director in the Water business unit and an expert in groundwater remediation and groundwater storage systems.
Mr. Cornelsen has many years of experience in the technical and financial management of large international consulting projects in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, with a focus on groundwater development and management, as well as groundwater remediation in the petroleum industry. He is tasked with managing the Doha, Qatar office. Within the scope of his management role, he is responsible for business development in the field of water resources management in the Middle East, acquisition of new projects including coordination and preparation of technical and financial proposals, recruitment, contracting and coordination of subcontractors. He is also responsible for the coordination and preparation of technical reports. Mr. Cornelsen is an expert in the storage of potable water in existing aquifers, the remediation of large-scale groundwater damage in the petroleum industry, and the exploration, assessment, monitoring, and utilization of water resources, particularly in the Middle East. His client base mainly includes water and energy utilities, government departments with responsibility for the water and environment sector, environmental authorities and petroleum companies.
Mr. Cornelsen plays a major role in the ASR (Aquifer Storage & Recovery) project in the Emirate of Dubai. The focus of this project is on using the near-surface aquifer to inject and store desalinated seawater for use in emergencies. The project began with a pre-feasibility study to identify suitable regions. During an intensive exploration phase, the groundwater conditions in an area of several hundred square kilometers were investigated in detail. With the help of a pilot plant at the most suitable location, the design parameters for the large-scale project are now being determined as part of a one-year test operation. Most Gulf countries now obtain nearly 100% of their potable water from seawater desalination plants. In the event of a production outage, ASR can make a significant contribution to maintaining drinking water supplies for a period of up to several months. Capital expenditures required to build conventional water reservoirs (reservoirs made of concrete, steel, etc.) are many times higher than those involved in ASR projects.
Mr. Cornelsen studied at the University of Bayreuth, graduating with a degree in geoecology (Diplom-Geoökologe). Upon completion of his studies, Mr. Cornelsen started his career working in exploration, remediation planning and specialist site supervision in the context of the dismantling of industrial plants. Subsequently, he provided expert opinions on environmental damage and conducted environmental due diligence audits in connection with the sale of industrial and commercial properties.

Johannes Lönne is Senior Consultant in the Mobility business unit and an expert for tolling systems, test strategies for networked systems, and smart transport systems.
Mr. Lönne has many years of experience in consultancy services in the field of mobility, especially with regard to the development of new products and strategies through the application of systems engineering, requirements management and feasibility studies. His portfolio also includes test strategies for complex systems and the development and management of efficient test processes and test environments. In addition, Mr. Lönne is an expert for toll systems and for automotive testing. His client base mainly includes industrial companies and public sector clients.
Within the scope of a project lasting several years, for Allego GmbH as the client, Mr. Lönne was responsible for adapting the charging infrastructure and the back-end systems to the legal requirements. His tasks there also included the identification, testing and evaluation of options for establishing compliance with calibration law. As project manager, he was also responsible for coordinating the adaptation of internal business processes and data flows and for coordinating the commercial and technical interfaces with external contractual partners. Jörg Appelt is Head of Department in the plant engineering sector of our Power and Heat business unit and an expert in layout planning.
As a graduate process engineer (Dipl.-Ing.) in the field of plant and process technology, Mr. Appelt and his team are responsible for consulting and planning in plant, layout and piping design. He is an expert in the construction and modification of process systems, with a focus on the layout planning of power plants and industrial facilities, and deals with studies, pilot plants and operating regulations, as well as being responsible for managing and coordinating projects. In the field of piping design, he also prepares cost estimates, hazard analyses and operating instructions, and accompanies the implementation of pipeline projects.
His customer base chiefly comprises industrial companies, municipal utilities and energy providers.
From 2005 to 2010, Mr. Appelt was in charge of the layout planning for the Hamburg-Moorburg new-build power plant project (2x827MW). Since 2020, his activities have primarily involved the layout planning in Berlin-Charlottenburg (gas turbines) and activated carbon proportioning systems in various power plants in Lusatia. He is also responsible for the award procedure and project supervision in the Berlin-Neukölln combined heat and power plant project.

Nadja Vrieze is Head of Group Controlling at the Dornier Group.

Nicole Thiel is head of the Analytical Solutions section in the Power and Hear business unit, and an expert in plant O&M systems.
Ms. Thiel has extensive experience in the areas of consulting and engineering services for asset reporting. Her focus ranges from the measuring point, in particular from the creation of concepts for fulfilling external and internal requirements, to report-relevant indicators such as algorithms and the balancing of power plant process data. An important aspect here is consideration of legal regulations and standards. She also has extensive experience in concept development for smart problem solvers in Excel/Access format, such as data analysis in the emissions sector, supply/disposal processes in power plants and smart documentation. In addition, she has been entrusted with standardized energy and environmental management and technical plant reporting in various projects. Raúl Granados is Head of Renewable Energy Resources in the Renewables business unit and an expert in solar photovoltaics.
Mr. Granados has extensive experience in technical consulting regarding resource measurement campaigns, site characterization and project management of renewable energy projects with a focus on solar PV. He is an experienced senior project engineer and project manager, particularly in the fields of project development, resource planning and characterization of sites for renewable energy projects. He is a proficient user of design, planning and modeling software and a proactive and independent problem solver with multicultural communication skills and broad leadership abilities. His client base mainly includes RE project developers, IPPs, EPC-Ms, industrial companies, development aid organizations and government companies.

Stefan Barthelmes is the Director Transportation in the Mobility business unit and an expert in rail and road transport.
Mr. Barthelmes has many years of experience in advising on financial, operational, regulatory, and organizational issues in the transportation, logistics and infrastructure sector as well as on privatization and public procurement procedures. He is an expert in private sector involvement in public transport infrastructure (rail, urban transport, toll road s). Thomas Kern is Senior Consultant / Project Manager in the Water business unit and an expert in urban water management.
Mr. Kern has more than 20 years of professional experience in various national and international projects and in consulting in the field of urban water management. He has been the lead design engineer in the implementation of a wide range of designs for the expansion of wastewater treatment plants and wastewater transfer systems in Germany and the United Kingdom. He has in-depth knowledge of project management, process engineering, hydraulic calculations, the processing of prequalification documents and the preparation of technical and financial tender documents. His expertise includes the preparation of feasibility studies, preliminary designs, detailed design and tender documents. From 2016 to 2019, Mr. Kern was involved, among other things, in a project to treat dam water for use as drinking water in various regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He prepared feasibility studies and detailed design and tender documents for selected dams, including service specifications and BoQs. The plant capacity of the 27 drinking water treatment projects totals up to 11,000 m³/d. Tine Haas is an accomplished transportation professional in the fields of airport development, master planning, and assessment of operational processes for airside, terminal and landside as well as strategic planning. She has over 20 years of experience in the transport sector working with airport operators, airlines and investors in Europe, the USA and New Zealand. Tine has comprehensive knowledge of integrated transport planning and design with focus on new mobility (car sharing, ride sharing, e-mobility, autonomous driving) and its impact on airport access and infrastructure. She is a prominent conference speaker sharing her views on emerging new technologies and digitalization with her industry peers.
Tine is an advocate for collaborations between urban planners, transportation engineers, technology providers and citizens to find sustainable solutions. Tine has a master's degree in transportation planning from the University of Delaware and a Dipl.-Ing. from the Technical University of Dresden. She is also a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand and on the International Professional Engineers Register.

Tobias Schumann is Consultant in the Mobility business unit and expert for innovative vehicle concepts and transport systems.
Mr. Schumann has extensive experience in providing consulting services at the interface between technological innovation, mobility and strategic planning. He is an expert in planning and organization related to innovations in the mobility sector, especially intelligent, automated and track-based systems in passenger and freight transport. His customer base mainly includes industrial companies and government agencies in Europe and the Middle East.
In 2018, Mr. Schumann was involved in a project dealing with "Autonomous Driving Pilot Projects" for a major German city, where he was responsible for the development of pilot projects for autonomous driving systems in the fields of public transport and freight transport, including analysis of international research projects, workshops with stakeholders from industry and academia, and preparation of funding proposals.

Ulrich Schott is Director of the Water business unit and an expert in water resources management and groundwater modeling.
Mr. Schott is a consultant in water resources management with a focus on groundwater. He has many years of experience in project management, dealing with feasibility studies, resource planning, construction supervision and dewatering. He is an expert in the assessment, development and use of water resources, and also has extensive expertise in groundwater recharge and water storage in aquifers (aquifer storage & recovery). His customer base chiefly comprises government organizations, water utilities and private sector companies (oil sector, mining, industry, agriculture).
Mr. Schott is responsible for projects in the field of water resources management. He led the consultancy provided to the Saudi government in reorienting the water sector towards sustainable water management, and was an advisory expert on transboundary aquifers for the United Nations (UN-ESCWA).
Mr. Schott is responsible for training in the field of groundwater modeling within the Dornier Group.
Mr. Schott studied at J. Gutenberg University in Mainz, C. Albrechts University in Kiel and the Universita degli Studi Cagliari in Italy, graduating with a degree in geology and specializing in hydrogeology.
Mr. Schott began his international career as a hydrogeologist at Dornier Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He moved on to A.G.E. in Brisbane, Australia, before working as an expert for the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ, now GIZ) in Saudi Arabia. From 2010 to 2019, Mr. Schott was Technical Manager at Schlumberger Water Services in Qatar and Chile. Since joining Dornier Group, he has worked as Business Development Manager in Delhi, India, and is now Director of the Water business line in the Dornier office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
