Anne Winters

Anne Winters is an international designer with a natural talent for art and innovative problem solving. Her mission is to lead a talented team of artists - in what she calls the "creative think tank" - towards imagining inventive ideas that define the voice of the project. With extreme focus on connecting the dots from all angles and viewpoints, she works with the entire Steelman team to design and fabricate such thoughts. Born and raised in Kansas, She received her certification with a BS in Interior Design from Pittsburg State University prior to joining Steelman Partners in 2004. Anne received her certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification in 2007, and continued working in the field until she became a founding operator of the affiliate company, MARQI Branding Studio, in 2011. Anne has worked closely with prestigious clients around the globe in developing projects such as the iconic name of Solaire Resort Casino in Manila which opened in 2013, and the design of the new prototype for Holland Casinos in Amsterdam.

Jon Champelli - President

Jon obtained a BA in Theater from St. Mary's University in Winona Minnesota, and an MFA in Lighting Design and Technical Direction from The Tulane University of New Orleans, Louisiana. His diverse background includes experience with La Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre in New Orleans, the Comedie Francaise and Theatre du Vieux Colombier in Paris, France, as well as Foy Inventerprises (Flying by Foy), ShowTech Inc., and Fisher Technical Services in Las Vegas. Jon's 5 years as asst. designer, programmer, and operator for Cirque du Soleil's "O" adds a unique edge to his approach to lighting design. Jon joined Paul Steelman Design in 1999, overseeing theater lighting, rigging, and seating layouts, interior and exterior lighting, and custom visual feature design. He has completed numerous domestic lighting projects for The Venetian, MGM Resorts International, Caesar's Entertainment, Hard Rock as well as completed projects in Macau, Madrid, Manila, Helsinki and multiple locations in Austrailia, Vietnam and Cambodia. Jon has served as President of shop12 design since its inception in 2007. He is currently working on a multitude of projects that span the globe, plus the Next Big Thing for the Vegas strip, Genting's Resorts World Las Vegas. Jon has been Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) since 2007, is a professional member of Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA), and is LEED © AP certified.

Kevin Milicia

Kevin Milicia is a Principal of Steelman Partners, and the Director of Design for Steelman Partners. He has over 30 years of experience in interior design, architecture and construction for hospitality and gaming resorts. Early in his career, Kevin's work included high end residential projects, restaurants and hotel design. His emphasis was on architectural and interior design, client relations and project execution. Kevin spent 17 years with Atlandia Design / Wynn Design where he completed multiple projects including The Mirage, Golden Nugget hotels, Treasure Island, Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, Wynn Macau and Wynn Encore. Kevin joined Steelman Partners in 2007 as lead Interior Architectural Designer for national and international projects. He designs all aspects of casino resort interiors, architectural planning and interior design- from beginning to project completion. His completed projects include The Grand Ho Tram Integrated Resort in Vietnam, Solaire Resort and Casino in the Philippines, Naga World in Cambodia and Harrah's Northern California.

Lauren Brown

Lauren Brown is an award winning designer with over thirteen years of experience creating custom brand and identity packages for the international spectrum. Committed to the creative union of intelligent strategy and smart design, Lauren is passionate about giving the world public spaces and places that are beautiful, relevant, and engaging. She is devoted to elevating the vision of each idea, and works as a liaison between clients and the creative team, to orchestrate a timeless brand presence that sets customers apart from the competition and delivers results to the bottom line. Since joining Steelman in 2010, Lauren has worked with a wide range of worldwide visionaries, developers, and gaming giants including Solaire Casino Manila, Galaxy Casino Macau, Nagaworld Cambodia, and Genting's multiple Resorts World properties. Prior to MARQI, Lauren was an adjunct instructor for International Academy of Design and Technology, served as a design consultant for the US Department of Defense, and ran her own practice focused on graphics, branding, advertising, marketing, print, web, product, and information design. Lauren holds a BFA in Visual Communications and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis and a post graduate certificate from Rhode Island School of Design.

Michael Arias

Michael Arias, Principal at Steelman Partners, began working for Steelman Partners in 2005. Mr. Arias graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena - California, receiving his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Design with High Honors in 1990. He is a registered and licensed Interior Designer in the state of Nevada and a member of the Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design. In the early to late 90's Michael worked for RTKL, one of world's largest architectural firms, and the famous interior design office of Chhada Siembieda Remedios, Inc. During this time he also realized his greatest passion: creating high quality designs for casinos and hospitality interiors. In 2011 he became one of the founding principals for his own office which focuses on the interiors of Hospitality, Entertainment and Casino design at Steelman Partners. Mr. Arias serves as a principal-in-charge of the conceptual design for the company, directing the design of casinos and hospitality interiors. He has worked on many past winning competitions for projects such as the Las Vegas Fontainebleau Casino, The Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo Las Vegas. His creations include the Galaxy Sky Casino in Macau, Solaire Resort and Casino in Manila, various casinos for the Holland Casino company in Amsterdam, as well as Resorts World Las Vegas.

Michael Vinh

AIA member and LEED Accredited Professional, Partner Michael Vinh is registered in the state of California and NCARB certified. He gained invaluable experience as a designer at prestigious architecture firms in New York, Boston and Los Angeles before joining the Steelman Partners team in 2006. Michael is personally involved with almost every project created in our studios. His recent prominent contributions include: Galaxy Entertainment in Macau, Resorts World in Las Vegas, Jupiters and The Star in Australia and Solaire Casino Resort in Manila. Michael received his Master in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. He also attended Rhode Island School of Design in Rome, Italy.

Paul Steelman

Paul Steelman, a native of Atlantic City, New Jersey, is recognized as a visionary designer of global entertainment, hospitality and gaming architecture. With a career spanning over four decades, he has designed buildings for the mavericks of the gaming industries including Kirk Kerkorian, Steve Wynn, Sheldon Adelson, Francis Lui, Lawrence Ho, Tan Sri Dato' Lim Kok Thay, Tan Sri Dr Chen Lip Keong, Prince Albert of Monaco, Bob Stupak, Frank Modica, Phil Satre, Derek Stevens and Stanley Ho. Paul began working as an architect in his father's architectural practice before graduating from Clemson University in 1977 with the pursuit of an architectural life. His initial work involved designing several pieces of the first Atlantic City Casino and Resorts International. Working for the city of Atlantic City in the Planning and Development Department he met many renowned casino architects and eventually took a job with Joel Bergman and Steve Wynn. For nine years, Paul worked for Joel Bergman designing many of the Mirage Resorts projects. In 1987, he opened his own practice specializing in entertainment design. Paul's distinguished career has garnered several awards including: 2015 The Sidney Artist Hall of Fame at UNLV for Outstanding Achievement in Architecture, 2010 SARNO Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2006 HOSPY Lifetime Achievement Award. He can be seen featured in many publications and visual media, including Forbes Magazine Designing for Dough and the Oceans 13 DVD featurette, The Opulent Illusion. Currently, he serves on the board of directors for The Lou Ruvo Brain Institute in Las Vegas, The Federal Law Enforcement Foundation in New York and The Clemson School of Architecture at Clemson University in South Carolina. Throughout his career, Paul has completed and constructed every type of casino project imaginable while working with many well-known clients including: Genting, Galaxy Entertainment, Las Vegas Sands Corporation, MGM Resorts International, Sheraton, Hyatt, Swiss Casinos, Hard Rock, Caesar's Entertainment, Silverton Casino, Stations Casinos and many others.

Steve Anderson - President

A graduate of Phoenix Institute of Technology, Steve Anderson has worked in Interior and Architectural Design since 1981. Steve spent eight years in Interior Design with Atlandia Design working on many Golden Nugget and Mirage Resort projects. He has been at Steelman Partners since 1991 and served as the Director of Steelman Architecture Asia and a Senior Partner of Steelman Partners Interiors from 2010 to 2018 before becoming President of Steelman Partners. Noteworthy projects that Steve has headed the design teams for include: all of the Galaxy Entertainment projects in Macau, China; Eyecandy Lounge and Bar in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas; several Harrah's properties including Las Vegas, Mississippi, Phoenix and Atlantic City; MGM Grand Centerfuge Bar and the Theme Park, Las Vegas; Tivolino Casinos Berne, Thun, Locarno and Rheinfelden, Switzerland; Sheraton Halifax, Canada; Sheraton Lima, Peru; Regency Studio Eight, Manila, Philippines; Stratosphere Restaurants, Las Vegas; Treasure Island Casino and Hotel Lobby, Las Vegas, and the award winning Las Vegas Sands Macau in Macau, China.

Suzanne Steelman Taylor

Suzanne Steelman Taylor is the Vice President of Strategy at Steelman Partners. She began her career with the firm at the Steelman Architecture Asia office in Macau, China; where she worked for three years before moving back to the Las Vegas headquarters. While in Macau, Suzanne saw the importance and necessity of collaboration between the six global offices.
