STROUD LEAGUE OF FRIENDS

We focus our resources, and any influence we may have, in a way that enhances and protects services, principally through refurbishment, provision of state-of-the art equipment which would not otherwise be provided by the NHS, and community projects. We also defend services under threat, and work closely with the relevant NHS trusts, statutory bodies and other organisations. Since 2000 alone, we have provided £3.5 million to enhance the hospitals and health provision, and to make Stroud Hospitals that little bit special... In addition to the hospitals, we support Weavers Croft, Redwood House, Beeches Green Health Centre and the Ambulance Service... Over the years Stroud League of Friends has made significant contributions to the development of the operating theatre, and to the ultrasound, endoscopy and complex leg would services in particular, in addition to many other areas.
