ST. MARY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY

The St. Mary-Vermilion Community Action Agency, Inc. (St. Mary-Vermilion CAA) is a 501 (C)3 tax-exempt, human services organization that has been in existence since 1967. The mission of St. Mary Community Action Agency, Inc. is to alleviate poverty for low income citizens through strategic planning and implementation of projects and services that will strengthen, promote quality, renew and guide families and individuals into self-sufficiency. The agency administers 24 programs and initiatives throughout its geographic target area of St. Mary and Vermilion Parishes. The agency consistently demonstrates its ability to effectively forge relationships between major resource providers throughout the nation; in an effort to efficiently link disadvantaged families in St. Mary and Vermilion Parishes to the services they require in obtaining a better quality of life.
