Suburban Portables stems from a long history of service oriented companies. Willis Diercks acquired a garbage company, Suburban Sanitation Service, in 1961. It grew significantly over the following years until Arlen Diercks bought into the business in 1976. The company was incorporated in 1985 and the name was changed to Suburban Disposal Inc.
