Dr. Edward C. Kormylo

Dr. Kormylo has been awarded advanced ankle surgical licensure by the State of New York. This is a rarely attained privilege that is only bestowed upon an elite group of highly trained and thoroughly experienced foot and ankle surgeons.

Dr. Joseph M. Zehentner

Joseph M. Zehentner, DPM, AACFAS, is a board certified, ABPM and board qualified, ABFAS podiatric surgeon born and raised on eastern Long Island. He went on to complete his undergraduate degree in biomedical science at Quinnipiac University with Magna Cum Laude honors and minors in chemistry and microbiology. Dr. Zehentner then received his doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, where he was heavily involved in teaching students including a tutoring position as well as an anatomy teachers assistant. He also was a volunteer at multiple community foot screening events and apart of the medical team at the NYC marathon. Once receiving his doctorate, Dr. Zehentner completed his three-year comprehensive podiatric surgical and medicine residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY. During his training, he served as a co-chief resident and received advanced training in reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery. He then also completed the ACFAS Foot and Ankle arthroscopy surgical skills course as well as the Bako Podiatric Dermatopathology Fellowship and Podiatry Institute Forefoot surgical skills course. Dr. Zehentner is a driven, passionate and well trained podiatric physician who cares about his patients. He takes the time to throughly explain the diagnosis, treatment and plan to all patients. His interests include foot and ankle sports medicine, trauma, diabetic wound care, and elective surgery.

Dr. Vincent F. Gallo Jr.

Vincent F. Gallo Jr, DPM, is a highly skilled podiatrist, board qualified in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Gallo emphasizes personalized care for his patients derived from his robust surgical and medical background of training. Dr. Gallo completed his undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences at The University of South Florida, receiving Magna Cum Laude honors. He went on to complete his doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, graduating in the top 5% of his class and receiving Magna Cum Laude honors. During that time, Dr. Gallo enjoyed serving as a tutor to his peers in several areas of study, as teaching has always been one of his passions. Upon completing his doctoral degree, Dr. Gallo served as Chief of Academics at his three-year comprehensive podiatric surgical and medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital. His time there emphasized extensive training in sports medicine, diabetic foot care, limb salvage, trauma, arthroscopic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and elective forefoot and rearfoot procedures. Dr. Gallo is a compassionate podiatrist, born and raised on Eastern Long Island, who enjoys building relationships and creating effective treatment plans for patients of all ages.

SUNY Stony Brook

Edward C. Kormylo, DPM, FACFAS received his undergraduate degree from SUNY Stony Brook. He then went on to the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in Manhattan, where he received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Afterwards, he went on to complete his three-year surgical training at the prestigious Northwell Health System. Dr. Kormylo was named chief resident in the final year of his training.
