Chris Adamson

Chris Adamson (CBIP) is a BI and analytics consultant, author, and TDWI's director of education. Chris works with clients worldwide to establish BI and analytics programs, define and prioritize projects, and develop information architectures. With over 30 years of data management experience in IT, consulting, and high-tech marketing, Chris leads TDWI's education programs and curriculum development. A recognized expert in the field, his many publications include the top-selling books Star Schema: The Complete Reference and Data Warehouse Design Solutions.

David Langer - Founder

David Langer is a hands-on consultant, trainer, and speaker with a mission to make data analysis skills as commonplace as Excel skills. Dave on Data was founded to achieve this mission by crafting and delivering the best analytics training for all professionals regardless of role. Dave has held analytics leadership roles at Schedulicity, Data Science Dojo, and Microsoft. He has trained hundreds of BI and analytics professionals in the fundamentals of machine learning and analytics. Dave has been recognized for his effective style of teaching analytics, and his YouTube tutorials have more than 2,000,000 combined views. Dave holds a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Washington.

David Stodder

David Stodder is senior director of TDWI Research for business intelligence. He focuses on providing research-based insights and best practices for organizations implementing BI, analytics, data discovery, data visualization, performance management, and related technologies and methods and has been a thought leader in the field for over two decades. Previously, he headed up his own independent firm and served as vice president and research director with Ventana Research. Deanne Larson

Deanne Larson, Ph.D., is an active data science practitioner and academic. Her research has focused on enterprise data strategy, agile analytics, and data science best practices. She holds Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), and Six Sigma certifications. Deanne attended AT&T Executive Training at the Harvard Business School focusing on IT leadership, Stanford University focusing on data science, and New York University focusing on business analytics. She has presented at multiple conferences including TDWI, TDWI Europe, PMI, and other academic conferences. She is a faculty member at Purdue Global, has consulted for several Fortune 500 companies, and has authored multiple research articles on data science methodology and best practices.

Dr. Norbert Kremer

Dr. Norbert Kremer is a cloud solution architect with extensive hands-on experience designing and building large-scale data warehouse and analytic solutions. Dr. Kremer designs cloud solutions that are secure, reliable and efficient at scale. Particular attention is paid to projecting the cost of proposed solutions during the design phase, thereby ensuring high business value. He is a FinOps Certified Practitioner and FinOps Foundation Community member.

Fern Halper

Fern Halper, Ph.D., is vice president and senior director of TDWI Research for advanced analytics. She is well known in the analytics community, having been published hundreds of times on data mining and information technology over the past 20 years. Halper is also co-author of several Dummies books on cloud computing and big data. She focuses on advanced analytics, including predictive analytics, text and social media analysis, machine-learning, AI, cognitive computing and big data analytics approaches. She has been a partner at industry analyst firm Hurwitz & Associates and a lead data analyst for Bell Labs. Her Ph.D. is from Texas A&M University. Rich Fox

Rich Fox is a 20-year veteran in the analytics industry and is an experienced thought leader, bringing strong business expertise to the strategy, design, and use of analytics, most notably in linking key decisions to high-value outcomes. He has been at the forefront of innovative, yet pragmatic application of data and analytics to solve business problems and was one of the pioneers in developing cascaded KPI frameworks to better manage strategy to execution performance. Rich is an independent consultant, and also teaches analytics in a master's program at San Diego State University where he recently co-designed the new Innovation course. He has served as VP of analytics at Qdoba and chief analytics officer at Bike Bandit. He is also a CPA, spent six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has been a CFO.
