Craig Simmermon

Craig's practice focuses on patents and trademarks. He has a physics degree, engineering degree, and an MBA with decades of business experience. Craig uses this wide range of knowledge and experience to determine the most important aspects of a client's brand that translates into IP rights and commercial value. Craig implements these strategies by securing high quality patents, trademarks, and copyrights, and protecting them from infringers. Something Personal: Craig grew up in New Jersey and moved to Northern California in 1999 where he is married and raising three kids with his wife. Janice is the managing partner of Symbus. She worked at traditional law firms before founding Symbus in 2000. She has secured hundreds of trademarks and has successfully prosecuted many adversary proceedings at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She continues this work for a small number of clients and spends time implementing a new and evolving platform to streamline the virtual practice at Symbus. Something Personal: Janice lives on a small farm with her husband and Irish terrier, where a dozen varieties of garlic are grown.

Lindsay Harris

Lindsay Harris has 20 years of legal experience, graduating with her Paralegal Associates Degree in 2002. Lindsay brings her considerable skills and expertise to our team by providing comprehensive support to the attorneys. Something Personal: A native of Metro-Detroit, Lindsay enjoys taking walks with her energetic puppy, reading, and playing board games with friends and family. When she's not working, she and her husband volunteer in the community and abroad helping those in need. In the last five years, Lindsay has enjoyed traveling to New York, Florida, Texas, Kenya, and Sri Lanka volunteering on construction and disaster relief projects.
