I am inspired by travel and love different culture and languages. My name, Tamia (pronounced Tammy-uh), was my parents' invention, but while in Quito, Ecuador, I learned that in Ecuadorian Quechua it means "rain." I really don't have any of my travel writings up here. But, if COVID-19 keeps on keeping us sheltering at home, maybe I'll have to revisit old travels and post them for my sanity... This site is just a collection of my stuff. I'm tired of having it scattered in different sites. Currently my focus is music, but a lot of this site is material from my old blog Sage and Seaweed. I don't blog about nature much anymore, though I still hike. I've gotten into native plant gardening, so there is a video about that. I'm kind of eclectic, so I suppose this site might end up being as well.
