Al and his wife, Kelly Lorenzen, acquired The Business brokers, Inc in 2018, building on the foundation established by the founders of offering confidentiality and professionalism not common in the industry.
Al is a proven winner with over 20 years of experience leading successful organizations. He has owned businesses and has significant experience in banking, business development and non-profit management. For nearly 10 years Al served as CEO of Wildwood Hills Ranch, prior to that he served as Director of Sports and Development for the Des Moines Area Sports Commission and as Director of External Affairs for the Drake Athletic Department. Al & Kelly are Co-Founders of GodSpeed Equine, a ministry that uses equine therapy to help at-risk youth and veterans.

Bob was an Educator for over 30 years. He is an alum of Simpson College and a member of the distinguished ‘S-Club' for success in Business and Athletics. Bob also spent over 30 years as a successful College and High School Basketball Coach achieving numerous honors at the Conference, District, State, and National level.

Dave was President and owner of Action Warehouse Company located in Des Moines, Iowa for 30 years, he is still active but has recently sold a major portion of the business through the efforts and direction of The Business Brokers.
Jimmy joins the team as the principal of REP Development & Consulting - a real estate development and business consulting firm.
Landon has a unique mix of small-town Iowa and global experiences that encompass agriculture, consumer product goods, hospitality and manufacturing industries. Growing up in Northwest Iowa he has a strong agriculture background in grain and livestock.

Roger has been involved in various aspects of the banking industry for over 40 years with over 30 years being involved with various aspects of bank management. Roger is very familiar with rural Iowa having spent much of his career working in and with rural Iowa banks, businesses and farmers.
Tyson Boeckman brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table with a background running his own appraisal firm. He has had successful real estate investments spanning multifamily, self-storage, and commercial land development. Tyson possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of the business world.
