THE TAYLOR AGENCY - Key Persons

Abigail (Abbie) Fuerstenberg is a life-long resident of Adrian and graduated in 2017 from the JC/LISD Academy and Jackson College. She joined our staff in December of 2018 as a member of our tax preparation team. As she begins her career in the tax world, Abbie is continually educating herself learning aspects of the tax industry and new tax law. She is excited to be growing and learning and helping clients with their tax needs. Outside of the office, she enjoys music, drawing, Netflix binging and spending time with her new husband, Dan, and her family and friends. She is an active member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir and playing handbells. As a former member of the Rome Blue Ribbon 4-H club, she values the 4-H community and volunteers and supports the 4-H programs in any way she can.

David Leonard is a lifelong resident of Lenawee county. He is a Adrian High School graduate and lives outside of Adrian with his wife Cat and their 2 dogs. David started preparing taxes for Richard Jackson in 2007, completed the Jackson Community College Income Tax prep course in 2008 and now is a member in the National Association of Tax Professionals. David joined the Taylor Agency in January of 2018.

Eric D. Wiedyk AIF® is a graduate of Sand Creek High School and received his Bachelor's degree in business from Siena Heights University in 1996. He joined the staff at The Taylor Agency in 1997.

Kathryn King is a 2016 graduate of Siena Heights University earning her Bachelor's degree in business. After graduating college, she went on to work at Uckele Health and Nutrition as a Customer Service Representative where she helped customers with nutritional recommendations. She obtained her Life Insurance license in December 2019 and joined us here at the agency. She is excited to be a part of our team and is eager and honored to help with your life insurance and fixed annuity needs. Outside of the office, Kathryn enjoys spending time in northern Michigan at her family's cabin, riding her horse in the summer months and snowmobiling in the winter months. She loves exploring her home state of Michigan with her husband, Garrett, and their dog, Pirate, seeing the beautiful sights of our great state.

Matthew G. Eichorn AIF® is a 2006 graduate of Adrian College earning his Bachelor's degree in business. He joined the staff at The Taylor Agency in 2012. Matt is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®). He is licensed to sell stocks, bonds, mutual funds, variable annuities, life insurance and annuities. He is a member in good standin

Steven (Steve) Case is a graduate of Sand Creek High School and a life-long resident of Lenawee County. He joined the staff at The Taylor Agency in the summer of 2010. Steve is the happy face you encounter at our front door. He primarily assists our clients with any servicing needs and is the warm, friendly voice you hear on the phone. He and his wife, Angela, currently reside in Sand Creek. Steve is an active member of Jasper Bible Church and enjoys spending time with his family.

Tanya (Tanny) McCullough is a life-long resident of Lenawee County. She is a graduate of Onsted High School and in 1996 earned her bachelor's degree from Siena Heights University in Accounting. Tanny joined The Taylor Agency in June of 2005 doing the accounting and reporting for the agency; enabling us to offer the additional tax preparation service. She came to us with her strong educational background earning awards for outstanding achievement and years of tax experience. She is a member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and continually updates on the changes in the tax law. Outside the office, Tanny is a member of the Adult Handbell Choir at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, serves as a project leader in 4-H and busies herself with the various school, sporting and 4-H activities of her children. When time permits, she and her husband, Mark, along with their family especially enjoys their time together at their cabin in Northern Michigan.

Thomas W. Taylor AIF® is a lifelong resident of Lenawee County. He established The Taylor Agency of Southern Michigan, Inc. in 1988. Tom has built his agency around dedication, experience and integrity. His service in the industry for 30+ years brings with it several awards and accomplishments. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Fraternal Insurance Counselors; Past President of NAIFA-Lenawee (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors). Tom has received many awards, among them are: National Quality Awards, Quality Service, National Sales Achievement awards, Agency Building Awards, Persistency Awards, and The Century Club. Among his various educational courses, Tom has completed the intensive "Mission for LIFESM" program designed to define the needs of individuals and families and provide a complete and unique solution. Tom has also completed the intensive Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation to abide by the oath to put his client's best interest first. He is an Investment Advisor Representative for Sigma Planning Corporation. He thoroughly enjoys helping people accumulate assets prior to retirement and providing retirement income steams when his clients retire. Tom and his wife, Dawn, have two grown daughters, Erica & Kathryn. They currently reside in Adrian, enjoy spending time with family and friends; of which he considers his employees and coworkers, both in and outside the office to be in that same category. Tom is an active council member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Adrian and currently serves as the President. He is dedicated to the community and has coached several community sports teams and supports numerous community events and organizations.
