Adriana Calderon

Adriana is the co-founder of Transfer Pricing Solutions Asia. Adriana has extensive international experience with Big Four and mid-tier firms advising multinational companies in the areas of corporate and international taxation across South America, United States, Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. In Asia Pacific, Adriana has specialised in the area of Transfer Pricing, building on her Latin American experience as a lawyer in Commercial and Tax legislation. As a transfer pricing practitioner, Adriana has advised companies in the Asia Pacific Region across various industries including automotive, utilities, cable manufacturing, steel and consumer products industries. She has also participated in specialised transfer pricing projects involving debt pricing, pricing of financial transactions and negotiation of advanced pricing arrangements. Most recently she has also participated in transfer pricing planning projects to implement BEPS's action plan and country by country reporting. Adriana also enjoys teaching and is a regular speaker and facilitator of Transfer Pricing seminars and workshops. Aside from TAKX Solutions, she also conducts training for the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals. Adriana has also facilitated training sessions for CFOs, tax teams of large companies and consultancies, and tax executives at the Australian Taxation Office.

Bryan Martin

Bryan Martin has a combined 20 years of experience in sales and customer relations in the transportation, shipping and logistics sectors. He spent 15 of those years in people management. During this tenure he managed key global accounts in the Asia Pacific region. His professional experience has given him valuable experience in the fields of people management, servicing customers and business strategy formulation. Bryan has also been actively engaged in various capacities ranging from training of personnel, customer relationship management and knowledge management. He is a fully certified trainer of the DISC Psychometric personality profiling instrument. Bryan's professional expertise and experience and down-to-earth nature allows him to connect well with the participants he trains as he is able to ensure his sessions are kept relevant to the needs and expectations of his participants. He has a high level of engagement effectiveness when facilitating his training. Bryan has worked with participants from organisations both in the public and private sectors in his capacity as a training consultant. These include organisations such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Singtel, EM Services, Courts Singapore, NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Ltd, Housing & Development Board as well as Dun & Bradstreet, amongst many others. His core areas of expertise in training and development include interpersonal skills, customer relations, teambuilding, personal effectiveness, public speaking, business writing skills and knowledge management. Bryan Martin is currently an associate consultant with regional training consultancy firm Matthew James International. He is also an associate trainer with the Civil Service College and MDIS.

Dr Sowmya Varadharajan

Dr Sowmya Varadharajan is a Director at an international consultancy firm that specialises in transfer pricing and tax valuation. She is an economist with a PhD in Economics from Cornell University. Sowmya started her career in transfer pricing at PwC. Having worked as part of the transfer pricing practices in both the US and Singapore, Sowmya has extensive experience in preparing transfer pricing documentation and defending such documentation before tax authorities either as part of the transfer pricing audit process, or through the Advance Pricing Agreement (APA) process. Sowmya has advised on a wide variety of issues, ranging from simple transfer of goods between related enterprises, to more complicated arrangements of buy-in/cost share/cost contribution and intellectual property transfers. In terms of industry experience, Sowmya has extensive experience in the high-tech/semiconductor as well as pharmaceuticals/biomedical industries. In addition to her transfer pricing expertise, Sowmya also has considerable experience on tax/intellectual property valuation projects.

Dr William Goh

Dr William Goh has more than 35 years of experience in the areas of import/export, international trade laws, shipping, logistics, distribution, warehousing, inventory control, containerisation, port operations, cargo insurance and claims, air and sea freight forwarding, ship chartering, trade documentation, international trade banking and financing, and supply chain management. He is currently running his own import/export and international trade consultancy, which was founded in 1989. Dr Goh has done import/export and international trade business with over 75 countries across the world, and has travelled to more than 80 countries in the course of his business dealings. An author of 8 books on shipping, he has over 30 years' experience in teaching and corporate training. Dr Goh has conducted hundreds of seminars and workshops in shipping, logistics and international trade both in Singapore and overseas. To date, Dr Goh has trained more than 32,000 participants. Dr Goh has provided training to institutions such as Singapore Confederation of Industries, Singapore Polytechnic, People's Association and many other trade associations/confederations, universities, and government organisations. He is a regular speaker at conferences, conventions and symposiums locally and abroad on topics relating to international trade, shipping and logistics. Michel Herrmann

Michel Herrmann, Managing Director of Herrmann Consulting PAC, has over 13 years of experience in the accounting and tax advisory business. Before founding Herrmann Consulting, he worked 9 years for PwC in Europe and Asia. During this time, he provided accounting and tax advice, audit and structuring services to German and international companies. In Singapore, Michel was the lead accounting advisor on IPOs and M&A activities for Singapore and US-based clients. Michel is a frequent speaker at accounting conventions and seminars. He has conducted numerous trainings on accounting for corporations and training organisations in Europe and Asia. Michel has a long-standing relationship with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Singapore (ISCA) where he is teaching in the Continuing Professional Education programme. Michel has been a senior fellow of the University of Friedrichshafen teaching students on the topic of Advanced Accounting and Auditing since 2010. On 1st January 2014 he became a permanent board member of the Institute of German Tax Advisors. Michel has authored and co-authored multiple publications on International Accounting and Accounting Structuring. He recently published an article concerning the accounting treatment of sales and licensing of intangible assets. Michel graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Mannheim in 2001. He qualified as US-CPA in 2003, as German Tax Advisor in 2005, as German CPA in 2006 and as Singapore CPA in 2009. Michel is a member of the Institute of German CPAs, AiCPA and ISCA.

Mr Sardool Singh

Sardool is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Accounting of the NUS Business School. He has been lecturing for the past 20 years, and is a highly sought-after seminar leader in the areas of Financial Reporting Standards, Cash Flow Statements, Analysis of Financial Statements, Consolidation and other technical accounting topics. Sardool brings a commercial perspective to the understanding of complex Accounting Standards and simplifies the requirements of these Standards to enable the participants to have a clear understanding of the topic. Sardool is also the Chief Financial Officer of an investment company. Prior to his current appointment, he was the Group Financial Controller of a Singapore listed healthcare company. During his ten years in the healthcare industry, he was responsible for the entire Group financial functions and the IPOs of two subsidiaries on SESDAQ. He had also gained his working experience with KPMG Peat Marwick and a Japanese merchant bank. Mr Sivakumar Saravan

Siva is currently the chairman of Crowe Horwath International's Asia Pacific Tax Committee and a member of the Crowe Horwath International Tax Committee. The industries that he has extensive experience in tax consultancy work include fund management, bio-technology, manufacturing, trading, education, healthcare, advertising, e-commerce and international shipping. He has also been the tax advisor to several companies during their initial public offering (on the Singapore Exchange) exercise.

Mr Victor Tan

Victor Tan is a qualified Life Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers, London and has 15 years of banking experience covering the areas of international trade finance, remittances, guarantees, import and export departments. He has worked with various international banks from 1977 to 1992, including Standard Chartered Bank, Amsterdam-Rotterdam Bank, Bangkok Bank, Royal Trust Merchant Bank and he was last with Barclays Bank, where he was deputy head of trade finance. Since 1992, Victor has been an independent training consultant and regularly conducts training in Singapore, Jakarta, Manila and Bangkok. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
