Ovuoke brings a unique balance of professional expertise and lifelong passion for people and problem-solving to her role as Human Resources Director. Her highest priority is keeping the "human" in her work. She builds trust through skilled listening, knowledge of analytic frameworks, and a capacity to find the optimum position where both the individual and the organization benefit. She brings HR core competencies such as HR compliance and relationship management to what she considers "a people business." At TCC Group, Ovuoke collaborates with management and the culture committees to ensure that staff and leadership thrive in an inclusive environment. Growing up as the middle child in a Nigerian family, she honed her keen powers of observation and empathy from an early age. For Ovuoke, the key to building trust and having an impact is non-judgmental consideration of all sides of an issue. She remains approachable and open while always remembering that even the smallest of interventions can have a lasting impact. Before joining TCC, Ovuoke was the HR Business Partner at the US Headquarters of Women for Women International, whose mission is empowering women in conflict zones to become self-supporting. She served the organization with all things HR, including recruitment, engagement, strategic planning and staff training.
