Amanda Dunlap first joined The Next Door in 2008 as a graduate intern from Trevecca Nazarene University. She has held a variety of positions, including therapist and Coordinator of Family Treatment. In 2014, she was promoted to Director of Clinical Services where she oversees the clinical team, creates and maintains strong community partnerships, and provides strategic direction for clinical programming. Amanda is a licensed professional counselor, has her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Welch College. In 2022, she was promoted to Clinical Executive Director of The Next Door.
Amanda Rodgers is the Client Assistant Manager at The Next Door. Amanda started as a Transportation Driver, transitioned to a Client Assistant, and got promoted to Client Assistant Supervisor before moving into her current role. Amanda has a passion for serving in the addiction treatment space and was drawn to TND's mission and the way we serve clients.

April Landry is a registered nurse with 12 years of patient-centered and compassionate nursing experience. Her most recent specialty focus has been in Mental Health and Addiction Medicine. She started as a detox nurse at The Next Door in June 2016 and has since been promoted to her current role. She has a heart for women's health and a passion for working with clients battling the disease of addiction.

Betsy Walker received a B.A. in Political Science from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA. Prior to working at The Next Door, she worked at a nearby neurology practice in administrative and office management roles. Betsy has been the Executive Administrative Assistant since 2016. In her current role, she enjoys the larger purpose she finds at TND in her day to day tasks.

Chanta Wilder is an accomplished healthcare leader known for her dynamic blend of operational expertise. As the Director of Operations and Compliance at The Next Door, Inc. (TND), Chanta orchestrates seamless operations, meticulous compliance programs, and a culture of diversity.
Charlotte Chaney joined The Next Door's staff in 2015 as the Business Development Coordinator after retiring from a 34-year career at Vanderbilt Medical Center. For 10 years, she served as Director of Occupational Therapy and for 24 years as Associate Hospital Director of the Adult Hospital. In 2017, Charlotte transitioned to her current role as Director of Compliance and Third Party Contracting. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Cindy Griffith is The Next Door Recovery's Controller. She has worked in many financial roles within the Nashville community for over 20 years. Cindy joined TNDR in 2023 to help streamline the accounting functionality. She is a mother of three, enjoys watching Alabama football, loves spending time with her children, and likes to play with her dogs, Layla and Bentley.

Erin Furlong is the Admissions Manager at The Next Door. She started in June 2021 as the Admission Referral Account Specialist before being promoted to Admissions Supervisor and eventually Admissions Manager. Erin loves that TND is a clinically and ethically strong program with strong female leadership. Her prior experience involves a range of roles from compliance to case management. This variety of positions, as well as her own experience as a client, has given her an extremely well-rounded view of treatment that is unique and invaluable. Erin received her BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee and is pursuing a master's degree in counseling.
Frank Chithambo received his culinary degree from Nashville State Community College. For 4 years, he has served as The Next Door's onsite chef, overseeing kitchen operations and meal preparation and planning. Frank has over 5 years of culinary experience and a ServSafe Certification.

Haley Snyder completed her degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with an internship at The Next Door. After her internship, she was hired as a Case Manager, where she led workforce development classes, helped women obtain employment and connected them to community resources to assist them post-release. In 2020, she was promoted to Case Manager Lead, and in 2021, she became the Assistant Director of the Criminal Justice Division. In her current position Haley manages the operations of the facility, ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, and supervises multiple employees.

Jacob Morphis is the Operations Manager at The Next Door and started in March 2020. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University 2012 and 2013 with Bachelor's degrees in psychology and political science. After years in finance, he felt called to work in the nonprofit sector to find a newfound purpose in the work he was doing. Jacob loves that TND has to opportunity to provide women with second chances.
Janie Elkins is the Peer Support Supervisor. She has been working at The Next Door since February of 2016. When first joining the TND team, Janie started out as a Client Assistant then became a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. Janie has gotten her CPRS certification and is currently working on becoming a LADAC. Janie loves TND because of our core values, and she strongly believes in what TND does.

Jeni Miller is the Director of Nursing at The Next Door and started in June 2022. Jeni completed her BSN and MBA in Healthcare Management at Western Governors University. She has maintained the CNOR certification, a requirement for operating room nurses. Before beginning her role, Jeni spent the last 9 years working at HCA facilities in Nashville. She began as an operating nurse and moved into surgical leadership for the last five years.
Jonea Marcellus is the Director of Nursing. At The Next Door, Jonea started as a PRN nurse and then took the position of weekend admissions nurse. She eventually became the weekend nurse supervisor before transitioning into her current role in November 2021. Prior to TND, Jonea worked at an outpatient mental health clinic. She earned her BSN from Tennessee State University. Working as a PRN nurse, Jonea found that TND was a place where she could grow and work with purpose.
Kate received her bachelor's degree in Communication and Spanish from Appalachian State University and received her master's degree in Higher Education Administration from The University of Georgia. Kate has served Nashville's nonprofit community since 2002 with positions at Saint Thomas Hospital - Midtown, Siloam Family Health Center and Samaritan's Purse. As The Next Door's development director, she is responsible for raising $2 million from church partnerships, corporate sponsorships, special events, grants, foundations, and individual donors.

Mary Spencer Veazey is the Development Manager at The Next Door. Mary Spencer started as a volunteer in 2019 and then joined staff in January 2021 as the Community Outreach and Events Coordinator. She was promoted to Development Manager in September 2022 and works with our church and corporate partners, plans our fundraising events, and leads our Young Professionals' Board.
Mary Spencer received her BA in Public Relations with a minor in Creative Writing from Auburn University and her MBA from Belmont University. Mary Spencer loves that TND originated from a group called the Wild Praying Women and became an organization that empowers thousands of women for lifetime recovery in an environment of hope and healing.

Dr. Ferri has served as Medical Director for The Next Door since 2018. He received his medical degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada and moved to Nashville more than a decade ago to complete his training in Psychiatry at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Ferri also completed a fellowship in Psychosomatic medicine and additional training in Addiction medicine. Prior to his role at The Next Door, he worked full time in private practice and as an inpatient psychiatrist at Rolling Hills Hospital in Franklin. He founded InSight Recovery & Wellness, a team of addiction-trained professionals with a vision to offer gold standard care to patients afflicted with addiction in a variety of settings in the Middle Tennessee area.
Molly has been working in Development on and off since 1995 and is excited to bring that experience to The Next Door. Some of the things Molly is looking forward to in this role is finding new funders and introducing new people to our mission, growing our revenue stream, and increasing awareness about the work we do.

Rachel Morris began her career working with the YWCA inside the Tennessee Prison for Women. In 2007, she became the 10th employee on The Next Door's payroll, as the Operations Assistant. Over the next 7 years, Rachel worked as an Operations Assistant, Workforce Development Specialist, and Operations Manager. She created new processes that established more administrative organization for The Next Door and implemented the new Electronic Health Record system for the agency. Because of her incredible job performance and her commitment to the organization's mission, Rachel was promoted to Director of Operations in 2014. In 2017, she was recognized as Employee of the Year by the Nashville Business Journal. In 2022, she was promoted to Executive Director of The Next Door.

Tish Meshew is a Human Resources Professional with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management. Prior to joining The Next Door in May 2021, Tish served as the Senior Director of HR for Professional Account Services, Inc. (subsidiary of Community Health Systems) where she spent 17 years building the Human Resources Department, developing the staff, and helping the organization earn the national distinction as one of the top 10 Best Places to Work according to Inside ARM and Best Places Company. Tish holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Human Relations and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management (recently converted to an MBA) all from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. Tish is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources by HRCI (Human Resources Certification Institute).

Tracy is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Advanced Practice Social Worker (LAPSW). As a social workers of 14 years, Tracy is committed to advancing women's empowerment through her involvement and leadership programs, community initiatives, and policy advocacy/implementation. As the new Director of The Next Door's Correctional Release Center, she is passionate about focusing on the unique needs and challenges of justice involved women.
