Heath specializes in provider focused healthcare technology and outsourcing solutions with a focus in sales, account management, marketing and operational management positions. He actively recruits positions for companies developing clinical and financial solutions for ambulatory physician practices, enterprise health systems and post-acute providers. Solution categories include EHR, revenue cycle management software, RCM outsourcing including medical billing and coding, cybersecurity, supply chain management, RTLS, nurse call, telehealth, remote patient monitoring, care coordination, HIE, clinical workflow, clinical decision support, patient engagement, AI, analytics, IT managed resources, DICOM, PACS, imaging and enterprise content management.
Heath has a law degree from the University of Kansas where he focused on several aspects of the employment process including hiring practices, discrimination and employee benefits. As a licensed life and health producer, Heath has worked in the medical self-funding industry for several years with a nationally recognized third-party administrator. Heath brings this unique experience to the field of executive search.
Heath is a member of the Greater Heartland HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association). He attends local and national HFMA conferences to network with clients and candidates. In 2017, Heath achieved his Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) designation from the HFMA to better serve companies in the revenue cycle management space. In addition to HFMA, Heath is an active member of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) and attends the HIMSS Global Health Conference and Exhibition annually.
Justin specializes in the property and casualty industry and is a member of the P&C recruiting group within The Howard Group. He partners with independent agencies, MGAs, carriers, TPAs, wholesale brokers, and other organizations within the property and casualty industry. He fills positions in account management, underwriting, claims, and sales. Justin is the only third party recruiter to achieve the CISR professional designation.
Prior to joining our firm, Justin worked in the Logistics industry. He is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in Business. Outside of the office, Justin enjoys playing golf and watching The Kansas City Chiefs.
Kathy is a co-founder of The Howard Group. She was involved in the recruiting industry for over 25 years and was a National Rookie of the Year with a nationally recognized recruiting organization.
Prior to her career in recruiting, Kathy worked for Coca-Cola, foods division. She was the youngest person at that time to be promoted to district manager.
Kathy now assists in the strategic direction of the firm. She is in charge of recruiting, screening, hiring, and assisting in the initial training of new recruiters. She on-boards and mentors new recruiters through the first several months of employment.
