Terra Nova Trusses is a Newfoundland owned and operated company incorporated in 1976 by Denis P Galway and Patrick MacDonald. Denis and Pat identified a growing need in pre-engineered roof and floor truss systems for residential and commercial construction on the Avalon. Traditional building methods were still being used at the time as this new manufacturing technology method was just being introduced... We manufacture Roof and Floor Trusses for the residential, commercial, and agriculture sectors. We are also distributors of Wood I Joists, Open Web Joists, Laminated Veneer Lumber Beams, and accessories such as Steel Posts, LVL, Truss Fasteners and a large selection of Hangers. Terra Nova Trusses operates a 16,000 sq. ft manufacturing plant in the city of Mount Pearl and employ 15 full and part time employees.
