THAWLEY ORCHARD COMPANY LIMITED

Thawley Orchard Co was first established in 1914 by Enoch and Alice Thawley. Enoch and Alice moved to Nelson after owning a grocer store in central Wellington. They settled on a 14 acre block in the Bronte area that they purchased from the Moutere Amalgamated Orchards... We are a family owned apple and pear orchard based in Mahana, at the top of New Zealand's South Island. We have roots stretching right back to 1914 when we planted our first apple trees. These days we have orchards scattered around the Moutere Hills and operate our own packing and coolstore facility.
