Jess completed her dental degree at The University of Melbourne in 2016 and worked in Mount Gambier after graduation. During this time, she travelled to Tasmania on a holiday and fell in love with the place that she relocated to Hobart where she has enjoyed a mix of both private and public work in her years there. She recently moved to Launceston in early 2023 and is looking forward to sharing her time between Oral Health Services Tasmania and The Dental Surgery, Newstead.
Jess is a dentist that prioritises patient centred care and strives to provide a quality dental experience to all her patients. She is a firm believer in comprehensive and conservative dental care in the prevention of dental problems, and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Jess always prides herself in being gentle, friendly and compassionate when treating all patients.
Outside of work, Jess loves exploring Tasmania's amazing walks and sampling the abundant food and wine of the region. Jess is also a bit of an adventurer and loves trying out new hobbies - she has recently joined the Meander Valley women's football team.
Josephine was born on the Gold Coast, however grew up primarily in Geelong Victoria (GO CATS!). She started her undergraduate career at The University of Melbourne studying a Bachelor of Science before moving on to James Cook University in Townsville for the Bachelor of Biomedicine and finally completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in 2015. She is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and an affiliate of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and in the process of completion of her membership (MRACDS).
Since graduation, Josephine has worked at several private practices around Launceston. She enjoys travelling, diving and baking in her free time. When not at work you'll find her at home with her twin boys Charlie and Oliver and chocolate lab Hugo.
Josephine is committed to providing you and your family with excellent dental care in a professional and friendly manner. She has a special interest in paediatrics, preventative care and the provision of general dentistry for the anxious patient.
Josie is a keen diver and baker, and a busy mum of twin boys.

Although she's travelled across continents, Elchèrü is excited to call Tassie home for herself, and her two much loved dogs.
Graham's farming background and family has brought him back to his hometown.
Jaslyn completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2000 from the University of Sydney, graduating with honours. She then came to Launceston chasing a boy and she loved living here so much that she stayed! From the time she graduated, Jaslyn has worked in a few private practices in Launceston (the last premises for 11 years) and recently accepted a part time position in the public sector with Oral Health Services Tasmania where her role involves clinical dentistry as well as supervising final year dental students. She completed a Certificate of Clinical Dentistry from the University of Adelaide (2008) and is currently completing her final year of study to become a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (MRACDS). Jaslyn loves working with the team at Newstead, as it complements her wish to provide a comprehensive, tailored, and quality focus to the public.
Out of work hours, Jaslyn enjoys reading, writing, gardening, and running. And the boy she followed? Well, she married him! They have three beautiful children and they love teaching them about the world.
When Jaslyn isn't working, she is probably reading Tolkien to her kids.
Richard is a self taught balloon animal twisting artist with two mischievous daughters.
You can find Ebony chasing after her two miniature dachshunds when she isn't keeping the Practice in order!

Karen has been working in the dental profession since 1988. Her first role was as a dental assistant in Launceston which sparked a desire to study further. Karen applied to study dental hygiene at the Gilles Plains TAFE and upon acceptance, made the move to South Australia. She graduated with an Associate Diploma of Dental Hygiene in 1994.
After graduation, Karen spent time working in Darwin, Adelaide and Hobart, eventually returning to Launceston in 2011 where she joined the team at The Dental Surgery, Newstead.
Karen is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia and served a term volunteering as a National Councillor for this organisation.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys music, travel - especially a good road trip - and sampling our fabulous local wines!
Karen enjoys going to the theatre and concerts, loves a good laugh and travel.
When she isn't providing excellent customer service experiences, you'll find Sophie enjoying time with her friends, family & animals.
