Alex Lekas

Lekas is responsible for overseeing AIT's corporate brand and image, is company liaison to the media, and works in partnership development. During his time with AIT, the company has been featured in a variety of publications to include Time, the New York Times, Entrepreneur, and several industry trades and online publications. He was also heavily involved in the campaign that led to AIT being named twice to the Inc 500 and three times to the Deloitte & Touche Fast 500.

His extensive online marketing experience includes the online direct marketing of books for $300 million per year NYSE traded book publisher Thomas Nelson. Derek has also marketed products online at the Walt Disney Company as the online marketing manager of ecommerce for ESPN.com. He was also the marketing manager for the launch of the NASCAR Online Store in October of 1999.

Joel J. Kocher

He joined the company in January 1998 as President, Chief Operating Officer and Director, and was appointed Chairman and CEO in June 1998. Prior to joining Interland, he served as Executive Vice President and then CEO of Artistsoft, Inc., a computer networking and telephony company, from August 1997 to January 1998. From December 1996 until August 1997, Mr. Kocher served as President and COO at Power Computing Corporation, a personal computer company. From 1987 to 1994, Kocher held several senior executive positions with Dell Computer Corporation, including President, Worldwide Sales, Marketing and Services.

John Lee - CMO, Founder

John Lee is vice president of marketing and a co-founder of Hostway Corporation. Currently, John is responsible for guiding new customer acquisition and brand building initiatives for Hostway's global operation. John is deeply involved with multiple aspects of growing the company, including developing business plans, executing marketing tactics and helping to solve numerous operational issues that a growing company faces. Prior to joining Hostway, John worked as a researcher in what was then a fledgling field of gene therapy at the University of Chicago.

Paul Engels

Paul Engels managed hosting and access for Canada's 4th largest independent ISP, growing its hosted business sites from 3,500 to 11,000 in under three years. He outsourced that business to Hostopia in 2000 where it continues to grow by double digits, annually. Paul joined Hostopia in January 2002 as VP Marketing and business development. He writes and speaks frequently for service provider audiences.

Stephanie Leffler

Stephanie Leffler became involved in eCommerce in 2000 when launching an online store during her senior year of college. In early 2001, she invested her full time in MonsterCommerce, the company who provided eCommerce for her online store. Ms. Leffler has been in numerous operational, management, and sales positions for MonsterCommerce during its growth in clients from under 100 in 2001 to over 5,000 clients today. In September 2003, Ms. Leffler was promoted to the position of CEO. She is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and holds a BS from the Williams School of Commerce where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
