A San Diego native, Elizabeth earned her B.A in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in June 2014 from Cal State San Marcos. Since graduation, Elizabeth has continued to purse knowledge in public accounting, and is currently working towards obtaining her CPA license.
At the firm, she works as a staff accountant, preparing tax returns, providing payroll services, compilation of financial statements and other responsibilities.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys bike riding, spending time with family, and participating in local Ham Radio events.
After graduating from University of California at Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Business Economics with an Accounting emphasis, Faith moved back home to San Diego to pursue a career in tax and accounting. Through her professional career, Faith has acquired accounting and tax experience in various industries. She has worked with Thefeld & Associates for over 10 years and loves that she is always learning in the fast-changing tax and accounting environment. Faith strives to provide professional service to clients through her efficient and helpful work ethic.
At the firm, Faith works as an accountant. Her duties include business and individual income tax preparation, payroll services, sales tax preparation, tax compliance services, client services, and other duties.
In her spare time Faith enjoys board games, hiking, baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Faye Putrus attended San Diego State University for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in accounting. After graduating, she obtained her CPA license and worked at a tax law firm where she gained extensive experience in tax controversy.
Faye provides a variety of tax services at the firm, including tax planning, tax preparation, and tax controversy. She regularly advocates for both individuals & business in various matters before the IRS and state tax agencies to correct filing compliance and negotiate collections alternatives.
Her hobbies include hiking, drinking wine, and spending time with her husband & two dogs.
Hien earned her B.S in accounting from San Diego State University. She joined Thefeld & Associates in 2019 as a staff accountant. She is committed to building long-term relationships with clients by providing clear, timely, and effective guidance and advice. She approaches her work with integrity and professionalism and strive to exceed expectations in all aspects of her job.
Hien balances her career with her love of travel. Whether it is a weekend getaway or a month-long trip, she loves immersing herself in different cultures and exploring new places.

Jenelle brings diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience to her role as a Certified Public Accountant.
Jenelle is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. She graduated with a Magna Cum Laude and earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jenelle worked at KPMG Peat Marwick, Singapore for two years before relocating to San Diego, California, to work at Thefeld & Associates since 1994.
Jenelle is dedicated to help clients achieve business success. Focused on services for small to medium sized businesses, she is committed to professionalism and delivers tax and financial services that meet each client's objectives.
Jenelle has gained experience through the accounting and management roles for a variety of companies and CPA firms.
For small to medium-sized businesses, Jenelle has expertise in providing accounting services, including individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns and pension, compilations, and payroll tax reports.
In addition, Jenelle is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, and fluent in some Chinese dialects.
Maria was born and raised in San Diego. She has many years of administrative experience and earn her Associate Degree in general education at San Diego Miramar College. Since graduation, Maria has worked as a Human Resource manager in Alaska, and property manager at The Sun Firm in Pismo beach, to name some of her experiences. Maria is bilingual in English and Spanish fluently.
At Thefeld & Associates, CPAs Maria oversees many of the administrative/clerical duties.
She enjoys reading and doing different activities with her daughter, In her free time. Maria enjoys sailing with her family.
Joy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas, in Manila, Philippines, where she majored in accounting.
Since moving to the United States, she gained over 25 years of private and public accounting experience. Joy has extensive experience in providing accounting and tax services, including individual, corporate, partnership, and nonprofit income tax returns and audits, compilations, and QuickBooks consulting, to small to medium-sized businesses.
Joy is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Joy and her husband have two daughters and two dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, gardening, painting, and traveling.
Warren was born in Illinois and raised in Southern California. He graduated from Palm Springs High School and from The University of San Diego with a bachelor's degree in accounting (Magna Cum Laude). He has been a Member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and a CPA since 1981.
Warren has over 35 years of public accounting experience with primarily focus on the taxation and accounting areas of small business. He is a business consultant, retirement planner and succession planning expert. Warren is the president and chief financial officer of several privately held successful San Diego Businesses. He serves on the board of directors and as a trustee for several clients.
He is the Managing Partner and founder of Thefeld and Associates, which began in 1984. His leadership contribution caused this firm to grow to one of the top local CPA firms in San Diego County. His Professional Activities include a Member of the American Institute of CPA's as well as membership in the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is the former treasurer of the National Association of Accountants, San Diego Chapter.
Warren is happily married to Julieta for over 35 years and has two sons; His oldest son, Marcus is an associate with the National Retail Group at Marcus & Mellichap. His younger son, Matthew is a member of Thefeld and Associates Staff.

Ms. Williams is in charge of the firm's valuation division. She has performed and managed a wide variety of business valuation assignments, including management and ESOP leveraged buyout transactions. Ms. Williams has practiced public accounting since 1988 and has extensive experience in accounting and taxes as well.
Ms. Williams is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Valuation Analyst. She is a member of The ESOP Association, The National Center for Employee Ownership, National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Ms. Williams received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with honors from San Diego State University in 1986, where she majored in accounting.
