THANARES

Thanares is a Potsdam-based, privately owned research and development company focused on the field of phytochemicals. Built on strengths in developing HPLC-based analytical methods for the determination of phytochemicals - particularly polyphenols - and their metabolites. Thanares is contributing its resources to the understanding of the mechanism of action of phytochemicals with health promoting properties. Based on this research, new leads for the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases are being investigated. In addition, biological markers for neurodegenerative diseases are being identified and will be developed.
