The Leading Edge is a family owned and operated business. Al Rose started the company in the mid-1980's with the customers' needs in mind. He built The Leading Edge on the premise that the name wouldn't be a misnomer, always striving to make things last longer, cut faster and finish better... We sell a complete line of solid carbide end mills, indexable tooling for cutting graphite for EDM electrodes; PCD brazed inserts, CVD and PVD coated end mills with long reach for cutting ribs and stub flutes for point-to-point profiling applications. We also offer the most extensive line of variable flute solid carbide end mills with axial depths up to 2 times the diameter.
