Buddy is a Producer and past president of The Phoenix Company.
A Winston-Salem native, Buddy attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation in 1973, Buddy began his insurance career by working as an underwriter for Kemper Insurance Company. Buddy then joined The Phoenix Company in 1975. He has held various positions at the agency including Producer, Vice President, and President. During his 50 years in the insurance industry, he has attained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.
Buddy enjoys that the insurance industry is still a people business and appreciates the relationships he has built over the years.
Buddy is an active committee member and has served as a Trustee of Ardmore United Methodist Church. Buddy is the past President of the Winston-Salem Civitan Club and past President of the Piedmont CPCU Chapter.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, visiting National Parks (62 visited so far), golfing, pulling for the Tar Heels, spending time in Blowing Rock and Sunset Beach, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and two granddaughters.

Gordon serves as a Producer of The Phoenix Company. A native of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Gordon is an alumnus of Wake Forest University. He joined The Phoenix Company in 1989 as a Producer,
Over his 42-year tenure in the insurance industry, Gordon achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation (1992). Beyond his professional endeavors, Gordon actively contributes to the community as a member of the Winston Salem Kiwanis Club and currently a National Faculty member for National Alliance for Insurance Education.
Hunter is a Producer at The Phoenix Company. A Winston-Salem native, Hunter attended Appalachian State University and began his insurance career in 2018. Throughout his insurance career, Hunter held a Material Damage Auto Claims Adjuster position as well as a Coverage Specialist and mentor/Trainer. He genuinely enjoys helping people protect what matters most and being there for them in a time of need. He is currently working towards his CISR certification.
Hunter is an active member and Visitor Host of BNI Piedmont Producers as well as Robinhood Road Baptist Church. He also enjoys volunteering at Seven Homes, Inc., Toys for Tots, and Shred-It Events.
In his spare time, Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelsey and 2 cats; Luna and Moon, golfing and snowboarding.

Neil serves as the Vice President of The Phoenix Company. A native of Newton, North Carolina, Neil is an alumnus of Wake Forest University. Originally joining The Phoenix Company in 2011 as a Producer and rejoining in 2023 as Vice President. Neil has held diverse roles in his insurance career, including Producer, Account Executive, and Insurance Program Manager. Over his 15-year tenure in the insurance industry, Neil has achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Neil's passion for the insurance sector is fueled by his commitment to assisting others in safeguarding their hard-earned assets. Beyond his professional endeavors, Neil actively contributes to the community as a Deacon at Highland Presbyterian Church.
In his leisure time, Neil indulges in adventurous pursuits, including scuba diving, rock climbing, and motorcycle riding. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two children, two stepchildren and three cats.

Patrick is the President of The Phoenix Company in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Originally from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Patrick attended Barton College (‘97) and began his insurance career in 2004 as an Commerical Lines Producer with The Phoenix Company
Over his 19-year tenure in the insurance industry, Patrick has achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. He enjoys the insurance industry because he gets to help people protect what matters most to them.
Patrick is an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina Inc. (IIANC), former Clemmons Food Pantry board member, Clemmons Rotary and IIANC Young Agents Committe. He also enjoys volunteering at the YMCA and Seven Homes.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoys traveling and watching a variety of sports in addition to spending time with his with his wife, Neely, and his son, Eli.

Her professional attitude and demeanor were certainly refreshing during this stressful time. Scott serves as Vice President of Sales at The Phoenix Company and joined the team in 2019. Winner of YES! Weekly's Triad Best Insurance Agent in Forsyth County 2023, Scott has consistently led the agency in new business sales, culminating to his current role as Vice President. A native of Winston-Salem, Scott is an alumnus of Forsyth Tech and spent over 25 years in Management prior to joining the agency.
Scott's passion for the insurance sector is fueled by his strong commitment in building relationships while helping customize insurance programs to fit his clients' needs. He is an active member of the Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina Inc. (IIANC). Beyond his professional endeavors, Scott volunteers at The Ronald McDonald House, has coached youth sports for many years and has mentored High School students through a non-profit organization.
During his free time, Scott enjoys spending quality time with his wife, four children, dog and cat. His pastimes include traveling, biking and creating lasting memories through the simple joys of life with his family.
